Service excellent and first course tastes were subtle and delicious . Mushroom rice was tasteless and starchy and the lamb speciality mediocre. At £64 for 2 starters and mains, price was too high considering we only had one beer and one fizzy water .

Great food and good service. Definitely recommend. Had a great time with family. This was my first time to the Restaurant and wasn't sure what to expect. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Recommended several dishes which were delicious.

Arrived ar 1015 pm on a Saturday night. Restaurant was busy and quite noisy. However, we were greeted by maitre de and shown to the bar. Our table was ready in minutes. I cannot find anything negative about Pushkar. Customer and table service were excellent. Food was simply outstanding and possibly one of the best Asian meals we have eaten. The lamb shank dish was delicious. Certainly will return and tell our friends.

great food , slightly expensive but worth it. Good environment, and surroundings,very busy so recommend book in advance. Good service and good menu choice with some interesting special dishes

Great flavours and friendly efficient service. Surprisingly good with kids considering the location though the price for children is same as adults but worth it if they are hungry

Food rather over priced and unfortunately nothing to write home about. Sauce needed to be further reduced as seemed rather thin and watery whilst the vegetable korma we ordered as a side appeared to contain chopped mixed frozen veg similar to what you'd buy from a supermarket

The food was just delicious. They were able to cater for all our needs. Staff always ready to serve you, very friendly. The ambience was perfect. Went with friends so was lovely to catch up.

Maitredee was amazing! Lovely, polite man. He made us feel so welcome. Definitely want to come here again as the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed but classy.

Service charge added to bill of more than 10%, excessive for a table of 2, a tip should be the diners discretion depending on experience

I have ordered chicken beriani and I found the tast has been changed, it was very tasty when I ordered two months ago, but last time it was awful

Didn't really feel like the waiting staff wanted to serve us. The cocktails were lovely but I didn't think the curry was that great. I've had better elsewhere. Personally, I think that service charge on a table of two should be optional but it was readily agreed to our bill. I was very much looking forward to eating at the winner of the curry awards but unfortunately I can't say I'll be back.

We weren't too impressed. Service wasn't great had to call waiter to take drinks order,our drinks came seprate times. We HAD to order starter main st same time, as soon as starter was cleared up the main came straight away. The saag was very mild and no taste at all. Naan was very crispy. Price paid but felt wasn't up to standard as everyone made it out to be.

We had a reservation for Saturday night but couldn't keep it so Pushkar kindly found us a table on the Friday night. The food lived up to expectations. The chicken in the dishes was of good quality and worth the price. The service was friendly and efficient and I would go back again.

Delicious food and great service. We were very impressed. The restaurant was busy but the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. They also serve very good cocktails. We are already planning our next visit.

Appetiser dishes are very good and sophisticated. Mains are moderate. Services are relatively well enough. Prices were reasonable, generally speaking good restaurant very close to the centre of the city.

The staff were friendly, helpful & efficient. The decor was first class. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. All in all a great experience.

Had to wait over 30 minutes to get a table despite a confirmed booking. Automatically charged 10% for service despite this being a table for 2. Table was beside the exit to kitchen which was an uncomfortable draught.

Food tasty and service very good. Portions on the smaller side making it a little expensive but otherwise a good restaurant

Extremely good food and reasonably priced, Was quickly seated and offered drinks and Waiter was very useful at recommending main courses based on favourite types of curry.

The background music was way too loud, could barely hear my partner talking. The service was okay, however they should have offered to take our coats as we seated the table.

Great food, excellently presented and conscientious staff. The setting is well decorated. Pushkar is Generally a very high level Indian restaurant. I would strongly recommend anyone I know to give it a try, they wouldn't be disappointed.

Big busy city restaurant. Tables for two have one diner facing the wall. A big wall mirror would add to the experience. Good presentation. Largely fresh ingredients. Haphazard but polite service....papadums came after the starter. Prawns a bit poppy! Overall okay but not worth travelling a distance to eat here

Second time visiting this restaurant and it is fantastic. Staff are very friendly and happy to help with suggestions on the menu. As there were 8 of us, we were sat in the semi-private room which was a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Restaurant beautifully decorated, majority of staff excellent. Meal tasty although popadom portions small for individual cost of £3.50, received 2 quarter pieces each, small portion of relishes. Enjoyable main.

Certainly the best restaurant in Birmingham, food is very nice and does brilliant cocktails. The bill was quite expensive however the food was worth it.

The food was really good but didn't have the dessert we wanted. Asked for one dish to be extra hot but it was very mild.

The service was excellent from start to finish of the meal- very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Food was exceptional, good selection and something for everyone.
