Fantastic evening. The food was amazingly presented and tasted wonderful. Everyone in our group were very impressed by the entire evening. The staff were attentive and engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to a return visit.
Really really good food and the staff were just delightful. Highlights were the seeded popadoms and the mixed vege platter starter. Would definitely go there again!!
Aknowleged after 5 min. Booked 11pm- then to be told to order quick as kitchen was closing. Terrible! Why allow a table to be booked at that time? Food was nice, service wasnt impressive!
Ate here while on a trip to Birmingham & what a great place. Excellent & friendly service with good knowledgeable staff & lovely food. We paid just over £50 for 2 including a glass of wine & while this may not have been tge cheapest Indian i've ever had it was certainly one of the best. Would definitely go back again.
Fabulous service, great food, nice ambience. Nice to have a few conversations with the staff, who are helpful courteous and funny too! Highly recommended. I will for sure be back! And remember it's Rai with an i, but pronounced Ray with a y.
Knowledgeable waiter who helped us chose the right food. Decor was modern and tidy Service was professional. The tikka masala was the richest I've ever tasted
Food and service were both brilliant. One of the best curries we have ever had. Great value Highly recommended. Would visit again. 10 / 10
very good food, not cheapest Indian around, but worth it. very busy on Saturdays but lots of staff, so service still good. amazing choice of cocktails
Great food. Just keep coming back each time I come to Birminham. Definitely recommended if you want to test the very best of Indian food.
Fantastic food (vegetarian is excellent) & fabulous cocktails. Staff are very professional, helpful & friendly. We visit Birmingham twice a year and ensure a meal at Pushkar Restaurant is on the list. Big thank you to all at Pushkar. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Lovely place , great food and good service made this a special evening. Good menu choice with some unique dishes as well as traditional favourites complimented by an extensive cocktail and wine list.
Positives - 3.5/5. The food and ambience were decent. Negatives - We didn't get table on time (had already pre-booked and called them in advance to let them know that we are running 7-8 min late which was very well accepted by the reception) but the worst thing was we were asked to pay for drinks not ordered by us (?bill goof up). We were lucky enough to spot the thing on our bill and then the management had about 25-30 min of discussion before finally presenting us with a corrected bill. No apologies though. It would be good if someone from the management came up and explained/apologised (not that we wanted someone to apologise, but would have been courteous to explain - specially in a hospitality business). Would not want to go back.
It was a busy Saturday night, food came out quickly, vegetarian starter was great. The lamb was a little overdone, but tasty. Disappointed I asked for a little yoghurt and was charged £2.50. Will try other places before rushing back
Excellent food as always but felt a little rushed at the end despite not being slow eaters. I think the staff were in a hurry to close!
We had a bottle of wine, a mixed platter for starter, a main meal each and naan Bread each, that was less than £70. Lovely food and fantastic service too. Will definitely be going again.
Simply first class! Everything from the range of cocktails, through the service & obviously the food - a great menu, well cooked & beautifully served. A real foodie experience!
High quality food and exemplary service. Great atmosphere which my octogenarian parents loved! We mixed up our wine order and there was no quibble about exchanging a bottle that had already been opened. Good menu with classics for the cautious but plenty of interest for the more adventurous. Lovely fresh flavours. Just keep on doing what you do,
Disappointed for the first time. Felt that the service level had dropped as had the quality of the food. Will probably not visit Pushkar again.
Excellent food, good wines and service. We went on the weekend, so it was a little bit noisy and crowdy. But overall recommendable. We will go there again.
We had an excellent meal at Pushkar despite the restaurant being very busy on a Friday night. The kebab platter was particularly tasty and all of the lamb dishes went down really well with our group.
Amazing food, great service. A little pricey but overall is worth it for the quality. Only downside is the service charge that was on the food and drink.
Had a great night - great food and service. Really enjoyed the starter which we had a selection from the menu and good wine to go with it
A great night at Pushkars as part of the local jazz festival. We had booked a table but arrived to find the place very full and the jazz quartet about to start. We had to wait a few minutes for our table but in the meantime were seated by the band and ordered cocktails. Pushkar cocktails are great and quite reasonably priced and we were not disappointed. I thought service and quality might be a problem on such a busy night but everything was great - delicious food, beautifully presented and with attentive service. So a brilliant night, not cheap but worth the cost. The jazz was a real bonus even though a lot of people talked over it. Restored my faith in Pushkars after a more mixed previous lunchtime experience.
great food, great staff , enjoy 5 star food which taste so good ,good value, so close to great bars and railway station , will recommend.
I Would highly recommend Pushkar. The Food was fab and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Reasonable price for the quality of food. Would definitely go back.
Great service and food, spicier than you expect from the menue. Courses were served a bit too fast but still ok. Overall very happy. Will definitely go again.
Good service. Expensive. Good food. Service charge was not discretionary which I don't agree with. There are other Indian restaurants that I prefer and would visit over Pushkar.
Fantastic! Went there to celebrate our parents anniversary. The staff was very helpful, polite and friendly and the food was simply amazing!! Also, their cocktails are brilliant- try the Captain Pushkarito!
Awesome restaurant.. food is great and the service is second to none.. in fact even if the food was mediocre, the service would make up for it
On arrival we had a great cocktail served by a really nice barman. The food was amazing, with a lovely atmosphere and wonderful attentive service. We will definitely be returning.
Friendly staff & good service. The food was awesome! Would definitely recommend to family & friends. Lovely environment & the cocktails were great too !
We had a lovely evening celebrating our daughter's graduation. Great service, lovely food, excellent cocktails. Sadly we will not be in Birmingham again for a while but hope to return at some point Would highly recommend.
A super place. Bright decor, welcoming attentive staff. The food was delicious, a great buzz and no push for us to leave. First time here, recommended.
Exquisite dining with outstanding food. Service is always on time and really friendly making the overall experience a great evenings worth. Every typical indian dish is on there, however Pushkar seem to add their own little spin on it which is refreshingly nice.
Fantastic food and impeccable service . Our first time and we will definitely be coming back again the next time we're in Birmingham. Thank you 😊
Great food, cocktails and amazing service. The Staff were very accommodating, will visit again. Staff were also happy to adjust my food to preferred taste.
Please tell your staff not to clear any plates until all food has been eaten. As I was just about finishing off my popodom and my plate was cleared when I had chutney on it. I felt rushed.
Amazing food and very friendly service. It was recommended by a few people and definitely lived up to what I was told. Would happily go back again.
Excellent food and service. Wine choices were also very good. We found the curries on the spicier side of normal, but still very tasty. Would definitely go again
Excellent service great food Cocktails are the best I have had for many years and all of my guests were very impressed Can't wait to go back to his brilliant restaurant.

Very nice food, great atmosphere, staff were very polite and helpful with dealing with my wife's surprise bday cake, very nice experience and great place to bring a loved one
Excellent food, beer and cocktails with attentive service in a beautiful setting. All three vegetarians dishes were very tasty as were the desserts. Reasonably priced.
Great Indian restaurant with very helpful staff. All the dishes we had were packed with flavour and the mixed vegetable starter plate was different and delicious. I would have no hesitation in recommending this venue to others.
Best starters I have ever eaten. Lamb chops are perfect. My customers could not believe the quality and all want to come back with their families
Great service. Lovely food x would recommend fish curry.was very nice will be back next time we're in birmingham. Thanks again to all the theam
Fabulous food and great service Relaxed atmosphere Nice place to spend a celebration or just a cosy meal for 2. Will return again sometime soon
Great restaurant with fantastic food as always, shame our table wasn't ready and we had to wait 30 minutes at the bar. Other than that, couldn't fault it.

I had visited Pushkar with work colleagues before and had a fantastic experience so decided to book a table for my wedding anniversary, however was very disappointed on this visit. The food was excellent, hence the score of 3, but the service was poor. We were close to invisible compared to any larger group, the waiter barely made eye contact and reached across me as I was still eating to start clearing away the side plates. A real shame, took the shine off our celebration of 24 years married.
Really nice restaurant and food was lovely, however we did have to wait a while before we could be seated. This prevented me from giving a higher score
Good service great food great atmosphere Went here for the first time and will for sure be back. A real Gem on Broad Street. Good vegetarian selection and very fresh
