Food was good. It was the Sunday roast on an itison deal. Very friendly staff here. Great service. Excellent choice of desserts and the coffee was lovely.

Another visit to Red Onion with 7 friends. Absolutely amazing experience again! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the staff were attentive, excellent service. Food was brilliant, most of us ordered different dishes - regardless what it was it was great. From starters to desserts- we couldn’t complain about anything. Thanks to all the staff. Look forward to my next visit in April!

Sunday Roast Dinner was super. Only problem was that it was so plentiful we shouldn't really have had a starter (which was also great)

This was the first time we visited here and it was lovely.We had an itison voucher for the the Sunday roast plus we had dessert ,it was very tasty.The staff were also very nice and pleasant ,I would definitely recommend.

The staff offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The menu’s should suit every major dietary requirement, I have a gluten and dairy intolerance. We all got to enjoy the menu selection, including myself with adapted dishes or many other options to choose from. The food was fabulous, and well presented. We were not disappointed with any of the three courses.

Girls serving were polite, fun, efficient. Could not fault. Food was average. My friend and I had same opinion. Pity. Not been in for many years. We dined fairly regular and always enjoyed it. Great location and sadly the food let the side down.

We had a wonderful visit to the Red Onion for a birthday treat. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. We went early and the restaurant was packed! Clearly a popular venue! A little bit noisy, however it was a Saturday night so all good :)

Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were fantastic. All staff members did everything possible to ensure we had a great night. It was my friend’s birthday and they allowed us to bring a cake and brought it out for us with plates etc. A great evening out.

Nice quiet restaurant with amazing food and nice staff. Reasonable prices as well

Food was great however service was a little slow. Tables were quite close and this resulted in us not being able to have a conversation as table next to us was very loud

On arrival we were offered a table right at the door but asked if we could have one further into this restaurant. This was sorted immediately and we were seated upstairs.

Food was lovely , had the French onion soup and the korma chicken , only comment would be that the soup could do with some melted cheese on top and then it would be fabulous.
