Happy and relaxed Food could have been a tad better Altho-onion soup was outstanding

This is my second visit to Red Onion, everything about it is fantastic, I opted for the Vegan menu and can't put into words how amazing it was.

Really good value for pre-theatre menu and service was fast, friendly and efficient, as it needs to be before theatre time! I really cannot fault this place for pre-theatre dinner. Portion sizes are absolutely perfect - it's a bugbear of mine when a restaurant/pub gives you stupidly large portions, which means you've paid for food which you cannot actually eat - this place has it spot-on perfect in that regard.

Been years since I've been and it was very good! Chef talked to all the tables which was lovely. A wee note: A restaurant with such a good reputation like Red Onion needs smarter toilets. Ladies were a bit grubby and worn out....sorry!

Food was delicious! Fantastic choice on Itison menu, especially for gluten free options. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We also had a chat with John Quigley, which was really nice! We will definitely return again soon!

Fabulous meal. As I am gluten free this is by far the best restaurant with so many choices for gluten free . The quality of the food is amazing and always a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.

Food fabulous, atmosphere friendly, waiting staff friendly when engaged. First visit was last week and we returned again this week to try different menu options. Will return next time in Glasgow .

Had a lovely lunch. The atmosphere was just right and it’s a great place for all ages. The food was delicious. One of the best things was not being kicked off the table after 90 minutes. I’ll definitely be back.

First visit and very impressed. Nice atmosphere and welcoming, helpful staff. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Impressed by the decent choice of gluten free options for a coeliac sufferer in our party. Will definitely go again.

The food was delicious. I've been many times but it was a first for my two friends. Staff were friendly and professional and my friends enjoyed their visit. My only negative comment is that the seating on the mezzanine level was ripped in many places. It just spoiled the overall look of the restaurant.

We had a delicious lunch at The Red Onion today. The French onion soup for starters was superb. Our mains were sea bream with aavocao salad & leaf of beef with black pudding mash......also delicious ,with our Chilean merlot

I’ve gone to this location each time I’ve visited Glasgow and have never been disappointed. Food is always a terrific value and service is solid.
