Red Onion meal lovely and waiter from Michigan (I think) could not have been more helpful. 6 year old niece with us and he was so nice and engaging with her. Definitely recommend restaurant for quality value and service.

Brilliant service and food. Despite being very busy we were served quickly and in a friendly manner. The food was delicious and a sensible size. Wine was excellent and not too expensive.

Beautiful food as always, and ridiculously cheap for what you are getting. One of my friends is gluten free and was blown away by the variety of the gluten free menu. We will all be coming back on a regular basis from now on!

Extremely disappointing meal not the usual standard here. Have eaten here several times and considered it one of the best. Will not visit here again.

The. food was lovely, went for the pre theatre option which we felt was good value. Great service, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent service and excellent food. Very nice venue with a reasonably priced menu. There was also a wide selection of food. Will definitely go back!

Overall a good meal with efficient service. My partner found a shard of glass in her starter - luckily she didn't eat it. The restaurant were most apologetic and did not charge for her meal or drinks which we thought was only fair. Despite this we would probably return.

Menu was varied and interesting, food was well prepared and delicious, staff attentive, price reasonable. Especially enjoyed the Trio of Bonbons. i would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The food was brilliant. The service was fantastic. I love this restaurant. They cater for gluten and dairy free diet and to have a banana fritter for pudding was the highlight of the meal

Disappointing, way too much lettuce in the scallop starter, and the duck was quite sinewy and very hard to cut. Overall really a let down

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff who were very helpful and attentive. Food was great and being a new vegan is was lovely to go to a restaurant instead of a cafe.

Fresh and tasty food. Really friendly staff and overall good value for the quality. We had the vegan and set course menus. Each course was delicious.

Service wasn’t the best, had to ask for more drinks, table was sticky, hadn’t been cleaned properly and we had a dirty plate. The food though was amazing!

Excellent value for money for a set lunch menu, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The standard of the food was first class, particularly the chargrilled pork loin and chorizo ragu, which was absolutely superb.

Great food but disappointed with table.asked for a booth upstairs but told only for 4 people and there was only 2 of us.while having our meal .a couple came in and were offered the booth.which they took.then the same happened with the remaining booth.spoke to waitress who we first asked when we entered the restaurant on why the table in the booth was given to 2 people rather than 4 ? Her answer was.."sorry" no explanation or reason....no offer of a free drink or anything....wouldn't recommend the red onion to friends due to this

Food & service was great. Only issue is that the restaurant is not lit on the outside so it is very hard to find (in the rain!).

The restaurant was comfortable. The food was fabulous, prepared not just to feed you but to entertain you as well. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The bill for all that was very reasonable. We will cerrtainly visit again next time we are in Glasgow.

Amazing restaurant! Food quality and service was first class. There were three of us and we booked in advance and told them about our dietary requirements. One was Coeliac, one vegetarian and one vegan. When we arrived and were seated we were presented with three separate menus for each of our various needs. This is amazing, and unheard of anywhere else in Glasgow. The waiting staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, and they obviously had been trained in what each of our allergies / requirements meant. As if that wasn't enough, all our meals were delicious and inventive. We will definitely be back!

Great food, lovely atmosphere and really nice waitress. Top class, we will be going back. Great options for my wife who needs Gluten Free options.

Delicious food and a wide variety of dishes were on offer. Although the restaurant was busy the staff were very attentive and friendly. Excellent , would highly recommend.

I ordered a pre-theatre set menu and the food rate was okay for me, I was expecting more better than that. Overall ambience and service provided was great.

Great food and service and we will be back, but please dust the flowers and shelves' that can be seen when you are sitting upstairs

Lovely meal and excellent attention by staff, including John himself. Some of the interior is showing signs of wear but apart from that, a very good experience and value for money. We'll be back.

Fantastic, tasty food. Restaurant has a great atmosphere. The waiting staff were brilliant, they went beyond their remit to ensure customers were happy. Would definitely recommend. Will be back soon.

Great food great service. Could be a bit warmer in heat terms. My spanish pork loin with chorizo was delectable. Sweet awesome. Might noy have been happy at being invaded by a coach party if Scandinavians wanting our table had i not been catching a flight. Will be back.

Excellent service and food to die for took friends for birthday celebration staff at red onion made it a special night for all of us thanks again for a wonderful evening

Fantastic, food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Decided on this place as they have extensive menus so even my celiac friends had lots of options - will definitely be back!

It was OK - starter nice ( scallops) I'd the brisket which was nice but my wife's fishcake wasn't so great - cold poached egg

Early evening options for pre-theatre or a la carte menu provide good choice. Food nicely cooked, good atmosphere and chef came to table to check we were enjoying the meal.
