Truly delicious with lots of veggies without having to order extras. We had chicken and duck from a la carte menu followed by berries in white choc. sauce. Oh wow. Seriously good.

Great service and food came quickly. We were lucky to get a booth which suited our group. The food was nice but maybe not up to what we expected, lovely house wine and overall a nice lunch.

Late graduation meal with grandma! Chosen because of one diners vegan requests. Did not disappoint. Busy and convivial atmosphere with pleasant service. Good selection of food and vegan choices were notable. Very good value on fixed menue. Recommended.

Wouldn't say I was a regular but been many times, lunch and evening, and always very good food, value and friendly service. One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Will be back.

This is the second time we have visited Red Onion and it was just Fab. We had friends over from Oz and they were very surprised at the dishes on offer and the quality of them. Just a Lovely Night All Round Thankyou

We had lunch at the Red Onion the menu is excellent and the food was also excellent the staff were pleasant and we didn’t wait long for our lunch, we will certainly go back, lovely restaurant

Disappointing lunch menu which was clearly based around their Itison deal. Ran out of the most appetising main course by just after 1pm. Food was not up to the usual Red Onion standard. Disappointing. I have eaten there many times and recommended it to many friends over the years. I’m guessing it was just one of those days.

Imaginative menu and well presented dishes, good selection of reasonably priced wines by the glass, friendly and efficient service.

Great food and service. Only thing was that the dessert I ordered was frozen raspberries in hot white chocolate sauce, but the sauce was warm and it wasn’t white chocolate sauce, it was a can of condensed milk. Other than that I would go again.

I’m coeliac and totally trusted the staff with my menu choices. Loved the bang bang chicken salad starter. Very friendly waiting staff.

Had a fabulous lunch with my daughter today . As alway food delicious and great service.

Arrived at same time as a tour bus with about 30 travellers on it. They took up most of the restaurant. Looked at lunch menu. No vegetarian option at all. Vegan menu given to me but it was more expensive and not to my liking. My husband and I just decided to cut out losses and went to another restaurant in Glasgow. Menu looked pretty boring and standard anyway and food on another table didn't look great. I would not recommend this restaurant

Superb food. The risotto was cooked perfectly. The cocktail selection was fantastic and were well made. We also loved our friendly server.

Another lovely visit to Red Onion. The only think I’d like to see is for the menu to be changed more regularly! However, food and service were both great.

As usual, a lovely meal at Red Onion. Their vegan menu offers really good choice, and it’s also great for my husband who is not vegan.
