Lovely Burns Night Special on the menu, delicious! The bottle of Pinot Grigio which we had at £29 was a little pricey.

Wonderful background music with Etta James, Nina Simone, Louis Armstrong, Amy Winehouse and Stevie Wonder etc! Service by Nic from arrival was excellent and food on the Itison deal was fabulous! (I had the vegan macaroni and hubby had the steak frite for just £5 each)! Both delicious. Really enjoyed the visit after having both been for a massage round the corner beforehand. A great lunch to follow that made it quite perfect. Many thanks guys! Janice Xx

Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. I didn't like my starter and they offered to replace it with something else. As I didn't want anything else they said they wouldn't charge me for it, which was really nice of them as there was nothing wrong with it, I just didn't like it. As it was a voucher and the food was already paid for I got a pot of tea on the house.

As usual great food which arrived promptly. Great house white wine. Only complaint would be the cold temperature of the seating by the window. Not great to sit eating with your coat on!

Was not taken to our table just told to go upstairs and to the first booth. Then waited 20 mins for a drink order. Asked for a glass of water with my wine and never received it and finally salt celler on the table was empty.

Excellent quality of food, as ever. Never had a bad or even a mediocre meal here, always fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others. You can relax and take your time over your meal without the feeling that you need to eat up as the table is needed for another party. It’s Glasgow hidden gem.

We had a delicious lunch in this lovely venue. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. One person follows a gluten-free diet and the choice was fabulous. Would highly recommend and be happy to return in future.

A very warm Glaswegian welcome-with a table by the fire-on a cold, cold day. Lentil soup was deliciously warming, and the chicken was cooked to succulent perfection. All in all food was great, wine delicious and wild horses wouldn’t stop me coming back!

Nice place, friendly staff, we did not have long to wait for our order to be taken. Food was nice. We did have a window seat and we could feel a draught, however a member of staff suggested we move to the next table and it was fine.

I was here as a birthday treat and we had the pre theatre menu. My three courses were delicious. My husband enjoyed his starter but he was seriously disappointed with the steak - for which he paid an extra £3. A decent chef would never have allowed such a fat and grizzle steak to leave the kitchen. He felt so unwell he couldn’t even manage a dessert. Sadly this ruined my special occasion. In addition the actual price was £2.50 more than the price online. When his plate was collected the staff member did not ask if we had enjoyed the meal. Perhaps the pile of grizzle and fat made the question unnecessary. I should add that we had thoroughly enjoyed our previous visit which was why. I chose the venue to celebrate my birthday.
