Lovely atmosphere, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered the 5 course tasting menu with wine paring which was amazing! Thank you for a great evening!

We had an enjoyable evening. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious and we loved the canapés. We would recommend it highly.

Very enjoyable meal. Attentive staff and a good atmosphere. Food beautifully presented and delicious. Our only criticism would be 'over explaining' the food. We appreciate that there were many elements to each dish but having read the menu we wanted to enjoy the experience and chat. This does seem to be the way with high end restaurants and the staff were so friendly but maybe stayed a little too long explaining each ingredient. Minor point. Will return.

Excellent food and great service from well informed friendly staff. It was as a quiet lunch time probably due to half term week. It didn’t matter, the restaurant was relaxed and more importantly the food was fantastic.

The ambience of the restaurant is spot on and the menu was interesting and original, the staff were very friendly and had good chat and a comprehensive understanding of the menu. The food was very tasty, however it did take far too long for our main course to come after the starter and we were a bit ‘past it’ by the time it did come. It was quiet apparent that the number of people having the tasting menu backed up the kitchen. When we asked when our main course would arrive, we were told ‘in five minutes’, it was quite clear that we had been forgotten, as it took a further 10/12 minutes. We were offered a complimentary glass of wine, which was a nice gesture, but confirms they had made a mistake I feel… Fair play for the gesture though! If I was to rate the restaurant on food alone, I would say excellent, however taking into account all other aspects...If it was a Michelin inspector last night (which is likely to happen) I don’t think there would have been a star on the way. Having said this I would go back.

Disappointing. Maybe it was because we went on Valentine’s Day but the menu was limited and inflexible (especially for pescatarians), service was slow and the food was not as hot as I would expect. I know they are capable of much better.

Spectacular service and the food is next level. We’ve eaten both the tasting menu and ala carte a few times and have never been disappointed. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Harrogate. Thank you for having us again!

This was our third visit. Quality ingredients in the hands of a professional chef who cares about his diners. We ate butter poached stone bass for our main courses £20 a plate and well worth it. I had an oyster in beef starter. Very good but I prefer my oysters raw (these (two) were cooked). But wanted to try this enjoyable dish and glad I did £12. Plenty of amuses for the gob. Decent Viogner at £19 a bottle. Helpful courteous service.

Excellent taster menu, paired with some very high quality wines. The service couldn’t have been better. Being 8 months pregnant there is never much on the drinks menu to excite, however the wine waiters went out their way to make some beautiful mock tails. We will be back for the beef wellington once baby is born. Great restaurant !

The service was so poor we left after second course of the starter menu. They talked about their Michelin star and only when asked said that they were hoping to get one (there is a misleading 2018 plaque at the front door). They didn't know the type of bread they were offering, offered the wine pairing for a meat starter, we were on vegetarian, then said it didn't matter, a waiter leaned over the waiter explaining the menu to us to put drinks down blocking what they were saying, the tables were positioned so that the waiters had to stretch over us and consequently on two occasions a sleeve was dragged through my partners plate of food. Other people were also clearly unhappy and we observed one couple waiting over half an hour for the menu with only water to drink, when they complained the waiter said there was no rush. When we complained the head waiter didn't listen to us and what we were trying to say and instead gave us a coupon to 'return in the summer when they had changed the menu' - the food was not the problem (we don't think after the starters), it was the service and his and his staff's lack of attention. The Michelin Star will be a while coming I surmise.

We had dinner on Saturday (3/2/18) for my son's 17th birthday. It was fabulous! The staff went out of their way to make the evening really special, we even had the private dining room made available for us. The food, as ever, was absolutely top rate. All in all an excellent evening.

Overall perfect. Staff service- 5 star, only one thing, we could not understand some waiter's english for their strong foreign accent, so we just politly nodded while we were explained about the food etc.. Food meets fine dining standards. I know fine dining is a formal style, but it was far too cold atmosphere. My personal wish for better, cozy atmosphere ( lightening , colors). Thank you

We enjoyed excellent food, we experienced this in fine surroundings, we received attentive service. (attentive, but not intrusive.) We would warmly recommend Restaurant 92 to others. Overall a really good experience-hank you.

A very enjoyable evening. The food was delicious, the best I have had in the Harrogate area for a very long time. We will be going again very soon.

The food was exceptional. We didn’t know what to expect but booked after reading reviews on trip advisor. I can highly recommended the Beef Wellington. Wow! It was stunning. We can’t wait to return

Another fabulous dinner. The service is exemplary with a full explanation of the menu which changes regularly. The wine choices are also very comprehensive; many quality wines to choose from. The tables are far enough apart to allow for comfortable conversations. We did not feel rushed to vacate the table. Left the restaurant feeling relaxed and well dined but not out faced by any course. Can be quite expensive but you pay for their expertise.

Great food with really attentive service. We had the 5 course winter taster menu which was delicious. Also chose to have the accompanying wine flight which all matched the food perfectly. A lovely evening out.

Fantastic food , we both had 5 course tasting menu. The venison pie was amazing as was the mallard. The staff were friendly and attentive . Would highly recommend.

The perfect place for a special occasion - excellent for atmosphere, comfort, service and food. We were a party of 4 and could not fault our evening. The staff were attentive to just the right degree, the food was excellent, there was a large choice on the menu - the additional little touches made the evening really special - would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.

We did the tasting menu and opted for the paired wines. It was beautifully presented, gorgeous food, fabulous wines and service was fantastic. I cannot recommend it enough. The staff were all great and we were not rushed at all. The décor is lovely. There is also a vegetarian tasting menu and an a la carte menu. It is amazing value for such an amazing dining experience.

This was the first time of visiting the restaurant. We opted for the lunch set menu and, although the choice was limited, the dishes were varied enough and we could have chosen from the a la carte menu. Very good dessert menus. Simply excellent food , service and wine - nothing else to say!

The food was beautifully presented and delicious with interesting flavour combinations. (We tried the Autumn/Winter taster menu which was excellent). We were made to feel welcome from the minute we entered the restaurant and the service overall was very good.We will definitely return.

Superb, faultless food. Tasty, exciting, original amuse bouche and the 'main event' was absolutely fantastic too; can't praise the cooking and presentation enough - perfect!

We had the Autumn Winter tasting menu which was delicious. The venison pie was very tasty and the parsnip cake with ginger beer sorbet was gorgeous. Will definitely be going again.

We had high hopes of this restaurant from the other reviews we had read. The waitress was lovely but the food just took too long to arrive. The bread was excellent and the starters were; soup delicious, parfait good. However the mains were spoiled by the gravy, I had the roast beef and the gravy was far too rich, not sure if it had been reduced too much but it was unpleasant, also what on earth is the point of serving the roast beef on a separate wooden platter to the rest of the dish, it added nothing and just clutters the table up and pork which was only just warm. We didn't bother with dessert.

Great Service, excellent food, good wine list, very good vfm. But a little cold. Will return to try the tasting menu, maybe in the Summer.

If you don't like game the menu was very limited. Not too good for vegetarians either, Not as good as previous visits. Probably because it was a Saturday night.

This was the best meal I've ever had in Harrogate. The only place in town that even comes close for me is Stuzzi. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was immaculately prepared as well as presented.

Excellent service, just the right level. Sunday lunch is so good, delicious food mixed with creative presentation. Ourselves and our friends loved it, and it is definitely on our list to return.

Fabulous food. We chose the 2 course lunch menu followed by two sublime desserts. Excellent service the staff here are always so very attentive without being intrusive. Great choice of wines too!
