We had a brilliant Xmas Day lunch here from the moment we arrived it was friendly Service was excellent and unhurried we were given plenty of time between courses to relax and enjoy the company Plenty of choice and choosing meals before hand is a excellent idea ;was very good value for money and staff as usual very courteous

Sat for over 2.5 hours waiting for meal. To busy and not enough staff. Poor customer service. Table booked for 18:30 never got seated until 19:30!

Excellent fresh and well prepared food, friendly service, nothing is too much trouble without being over bearing. Surroundings are comfortable and table cloths and cutlery are spotlessly clean A very good all round experience.

As ever, the Richmond Oriental was second to none on its quality of food, friendly service & value for money. Always a pleasure to eat there.

I booked for my Aunts 80th Birthday , for 17 family members, it was a great night, food was delicious as always, the staff were attentive. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thanks for a wonderful night.

Some friends and I went for a meal, and The Richmond Oriental did not disappoint! Very tasty food, and from the Festive menu, was very affordable food too. The staff were curteous and polite, and were attentive to ask whether we needed our drinks refreshed, without being overbearing. My only complaint was the service was a little slow, but given that it was a Saturday night, as well as a pre-cursor to Christmas celebrations, this is acceptable!

Food excellent. No complaints food lovely and hot. A We booked for 6.30 and had to sit in bar for an hour. Service was slow.

Nice meal in pleasant surroundings and attentive staff even had their own choir they came out with a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to my wife which really made her night

food was lovely i had veg spring rolls to start you get 3 per portion and they were lovely my partner and my mum had soup chicken noodle and hot and sour both really enjoyed it and for mains we had chicken chow mein and my mum had chicken curry they were beautiful and the portions are massive couldnt eat it all so ended up bringing some home

We had a lovely meal on the early evening set menus. The chicken curry was spicy and the sweet and sour chicken was very tasty.

Fantastic food as always ,atmosphere great, the staff and service are second to none. Great value,on this occasion we dined on the pre theatre menu ,excellent selection .

Had a relaxing drink in the bar, before being seated at our table, although the restaurant was packed there was no rush to move us along. Staff all very friendly and food and drinks were great.

Fantastic Restaurant to eat in and it never fails to please us every time we go. The staff are so friendly, yet professional, ensuring all your needs are met. They are courteous, pleasant and friendly, ensuring everything is fine with your meal or asking if they can they bring anything else to you. They check throughout the meal if you need anything further and you can see it is important to them that you are enjoying the whole experience. The pre-theatre menu is good value for money and there is a huge choice on it, considering it is a pre-theatre menu. The 4 of us all had different things, but each dish was beautifully cooked and well presented. The flavours were awesome and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything we had to eat. We will most definitely be back

The staff are always so attentive and pleasant. The restaurant is very clean and modern and has a good atmosphere and is situated in a good location with plenty of parking . The food is lovely and I have never had a bad experience at the Richmond Oriental. Will be returning soon.

The whole experience was great. The staff were friendly,efficient. The food freshly cooked and tasty with plenty of it. My family and I were very impressed and will certainly be returning to hopefully enjoy a repeat performance of this experience again. Thank you.!!

Excellent food. Excellent service. A really enjoyable evening. The only negative was the price charged for a half pint of cola with ice in a pint glass £3.40. Would however, highly recommend this restaurant.

Food great, atmosphere great and staff very nice and welcoming, it took us a wee bit of time to get served (asked about our pudding choice and we had our menu's down for a while and we were in a bit of a rush but other than that, would definitely come back

Fabulous tasty food at a good price. Great surroundings, friendly staff. Not the usual bland stuff. Ribs were especially tasty. It was busy. Even at 5pm which sjows how popular it is.

We had organised a family get together and there were 8 of us in total. We had a fantastic night at the wonderful Richmond Oriental. We had the mixed starters and the duck to share, for starters and they were fabulous. The food is of such high quality and is definitely fresh produce. The duck was so succulent and full of flavour. We had a mixed assortment of main courses and each one delicious, fresh and well cooked. The food is beautifully presented also. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Without being intrusive, they looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. Fabulous restaurant and we’ll definitely be back. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Richmond Oriental to all my family and friends.

The service was good and the choice on the menu for lunch was varied We enjoyed the prawn crackers and our choice of starters and the main course was just the right amount of food for lunch time All in all a very pleasant experience
