Richmond Oriental

Hadn't visited the Richmond in over a year. So were keen to see if it is still the best Chinese restaurant in Strathclyde. Booking online was extremely easy. Saturday early evening was busy and after eight o'clock there was not a seat to be had. Speaks for itself really!! Being busy does not affect the outstanding service and quality of food. Could be considered pricey but worth every penny. Fabulous will not leave it as long to return.

Not the first time we have visited the Richmond and certainly won't be the last! Meal was fabulous and the service as always was courteous and extremely efficient! Our favourite Chinese restaurant in Glasgow!

Great meal lovely staff reasonably priced can't fault it at all. Room was lovely and warm on a really cold day Easy parking area outside.

This was the first visit to the restaurant we were booked in for 7:45. Got there at 7:40 and didn't get seated until 8:00 so was a little disappointing. The rest of the experience was lovely though.

meal was excellent , but my sister is not happy , she bought a new dress for tonight and it was caught on something in ladies toilet wasted her new dress do not know if I will be back , the resteraunt new there was a problem within the ladies toilet as it had been sorted before by taping over the problem instead of fixing it completely , now my sister is out of "170 for a new dress that she can't wear again , not even an apology from management ? No way to run a business is it , now I wonder if I will get any explanation back from management , WELL MANAGEMENT ?

The service was first class and the food was absolutely delicious! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Richmond Oriental to others !

Lovely modern restaurant, food very good, lychee liqueur cocktail great. Definitely planning to go back. Great choice on menu not cheap but not too expensive. Staff also very nice

Food and service very good. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Prices on The alacarte menu are very good I would recommend The Richmond Oriental.

A great dinner with service to match. An extensive menu to cater for all tastes which makes you want to back and try more. A great place to catch up with friends and not have to shout to be heard. By far the best Chinese Restaurant in East Kilbride.

Ample parking outside restaurant, nice welcome and shown to our table, order taken immediately for drinks and then our food order, good choice on menu, food served promptly and everything was very nice, would recommend this restaurant

We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the Richmond Oriental in very classy, luxurious surroundings. Food, service and hospitality was excellent . We will certainly be going back and highly recommending it to friends and family.

Wonderful service- amazing food and excellent attention! Always very welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. We had our 4-yr old grandson with us and the staff were very kind and patient. We were also celebrating my birthday and they agreed to bring out my cake, complete with candles- it was a lovely surprise!! Thank you so much!

Resturant was very busy and young waitress was out of her comfort zone NOT her fault there was not enough staff on duty.Food as always was excellent will definitely return the pre-theatre is great value for money

First class. Great food, lovely surroundings and the service is excellent. The staff cannot do enough for you. You are never rushed and it's a great place to spend a relaxing evening.

Quality food, excellent staff and lovely restaurant. All day pre-theatre menu on Mon, Tues, Wed is great value. Slightly more expensive than other Chinese/Cantonese restaurants in area but this is a slightly more up market restaurant and food is higher quality & very tasty

The Richmond Oriental provides a good value pre theatre menu,the drinks are reasonably priced. The staff give attentive service in pleasant surroundings. I will visit again.

This was our first time at the Richmond Oriental, where it was family celebration. Staff were welcoming & attentive; food was excellent (inc choices available) & the place was spotless. Would definitely recommend this eaterie & intend visiting again!

I have been a customer of the Richmond for a number of years both sitting in and using carry outs. I have always found the service and quality of food to be first class and this visit was no exception.

Exceptional service, beautiful food, would highly recommend. Their choice of deserts are delicious and quite unusual for a Chinese restaurant this was a real bonus.

Fantastic food, busy restaurant with good atmosphere. Only concern was our food arrived within 5 miins of ordering. How did they make a curry and satay so quickly!

Excellent service with extremely attentive an efficient staff and food of very high quality. The only thing that stopped me from awarding them with score of six was that they had run out of steaks and two of our party had intended to order steaks.

Very good food in a lovely setting. Staff attentive and helpful. Reasonably priced food, would recommend the crispy aromatic duck which was fabulous. Will visit again.

I have been to the Richmond a few time & have never been disappointed. The staff are efficient and great! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!!
