Haven’t been for a long time, the food was as good as I remembered. Such a lovely change from British food. Great restaurant atmosphere too.

Excellent food and service and in a comfortable setting and atmosphere would definitely return and would love to see a tasting menu of some sort so we can try even more of what’s on offer

On the whole we do still enjoy Ogino but it is the little extra touches that are missing. The "warm" sake was tepid at best and the service not quite as professional.

Another visit to this amazing restaurant with a very disappointing finish. The restaurant as always is very well set. We where seated very promptly to a nice booth table. The Shushi was very fresh and of good quality. The main course specially the pork dish was mix bag, the small pieces where nice a tender but the large strips where tough and chewy. Also we noticed that all the dishes lost all the unique Japanese veg that were usually present and replaced with green yellow and red peppers that if they where specified on the menu we would have not chosen. The worst part was the unbelievable way we where treated. After I complained about the pork dish, the person that took the dish away went to the kitchen and started shouting loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear and to top it all up the Manager that was sitting at the bar when i was paying commented loudly about serial complainers. I am sorry, but if the food is no good you will know about it, as it's my hard earned money and I expect to be treated with respect. Never again, I have visited this restaurant over 20 times and this was unacceptable.

This was our second visit and our first restaurant meal since restrictions ended and we were not disappointed. The food is just amazing, I had the duck which was just phenomenal. If you like great food this is definitely the restaurant to visit. The staff are friendly, professional and offer great advice if you are unsure of any of the food. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic food and the best service in Beverley which is saying a lot as there are many great restaurants in the town. Will definitely be returning here again to sample more of the brilliant food.

New staff not as good as previous. Smarmy overly smart type and another who’s hair looked like it needed a wash. This is a fantastic Japanese restaurant, been many times, will come again, but make the service less Basil Fawlty, more adaptive to customer mood. It was better before.

The food was fantastic. I don’t think the rolls are even needed for the evening menu as in comparison to the other starters and mains they are not half as good! Definitely will go again.

Food was fantastic. This venue is brilliant for something a bit different. Always happy to be going there for a meal. First time for lunch which was delicious.

Our first visit was a good experience. We tried both the sharing starter followed by the tapas offer. This gave us an excellent opportunity to try different things. Will definitely return!
