This place has a great wine list to pick from. The atmosphere is very friendly and the stuff is always in their best mood. Would definitely recommend it to couples and after-work catch-up.

Great selection of wines and fantastic service. The place is nice for small parties and a great romantic date choice. Options of charcuterie have room of improvement :)

Great wine, great service, great cheese toasties, great music! Really can't fault Sager + Wilde, and the wines are always interesting and delicious. Highly recommended.

Very good wine selection; tasty bar snacks; and a good ambience. I do object however to 12% service added to the bill for snacks and drinks sat at the bar.

Wine and food were great - lovely burrato with tomatoes in olive oil. Our waitress was very warm but others seemed generally less interested in the customers. It wasn't particularly comfortable and our table was wedged in an open door - but it was welcome on a hot day!

This wine bar never seizes to deliver. On style, on atmosphere and, of course, on wine. Maybe not the best place to come as a single however, you might feel slightly overwhelmed by the number of dates happening around you...

Very pleasant environment, with candles on tables when it got dark. Friendly staff. Good choice of wine and some nice nibbles. Seats are very hard!

The service was quite slow and the staff were a bit attitude-y. Our first glass of wine wasn't great, the next wines were good but for the price of food and drink I don't think the quality of goods and service matched up.

Lovely wine, lovely service in a rather (but not too) east London joint. It is pricey, especially with the 10% service charge, but if you're taking your time over the drinks, it's probably worth it for the table and ambiance.

Great little wine bar. Guys behind the counter can pair your eats and wine for you. Very relaxed atmosphere. Was a great experience, albeit a touch loud.

Not sure what's happened to this place. The wine is very expensive and not that great and the food portions are stingy. £15 for 4 tiny pieces of cheese and 1 slice of sourdough and 70 more pounds for 2 very average bottles of white wine. It's become a bit soul-less as so often happens when places do well and then shamelessly try and fleece you.

Nice ambiance with a great selection of good wines. Nice variety from all different regions. The staff were a little abrupt and not very friendly.

Bad service -- very little information about wines, wine served unprofessionally, lots of waiting -- and disappointing wines. Used to be a place for real wine lovers, with real research in the cellar and real knowledge. Now just another place making money pouring wine. And measuring it in metal cups ??? Will not recommend it any more.

Good experience. My only disappointment was that at arrival they were only 2 tables left and both were reserved. The better table out of the 2 was given away to a couple of blaggers who had not booked and left us by the door.

Good wine selection of biodynamic and niche wineries, although a bit pricey. A bit poor selection of food although tasty and great quality. Would definitely recommend for couples.

Lovely wine and nibbles, great atmosphere. Also went next door to Morito for dinner after. This is fast becoming a very 'goody' part of London. Highly recommended.

Wine was delicious. Service was prompt, helpful and not over the top. Wish portion of cheese had been larger for the price and that didn't have to buy bread on top.

This is a very interesting place, with a nice selection of wines, and a really cool atmosphere to have a warm night with friends. Located in the trendy Hackney Road, so that is another plus as well.

Overpriced in every respect. Wines were only of average quality and far too expensive. The place needs a reality check in terms of what it offers and how much it should charge. Very disappointing.

Beautiful and cozy, with special wines. Booked a table but was put at one of the quite cramped bar tables in the back, so not exactly somewhere we would stay for very long - after about an hour the stools were really uncomfortable so we headed elsewhere to eat.

Amazing wine- lovely blonde (french?) waitress knew her stuff! Really busy but in a good vibe way!even the olives were good- and the smell of a cheese toastie was so so tempting, even after having had dinner! Thanks S&W

Great wine and cheese but lacking in atmosphere, and prices are exorbitant. On a cold winter's evening it was equally as chilly inside as it was outside.

Lovely little candlelit bar. Was busy but didn't feel crowed. The waiters were attentive but not pushy, the music was atmospheric and upbeat but you could still easily hear yourself speak. And you can book tables for drinks too! So brilliant for a low-key evening with wine loving friends or a date.

Very enjoyable experience. If I was to comment on one thing, is that a glass of wine there is fairly pricey for these parts-better value to get the whole bottle!!
