Atmosphere was good,very friendly staff and the food was excellent. We would go again and take the whole family next time and try different dishes.

Made valentine’s so special, balloons, confetti, rose on way out & of course amazing food!!! Lovely staff and great atmosphere, would recommend this place to everybody!!

Service was prompt, some may say they felt rushed. Starters and mains were excellent. Having visited Italy a few times I found the tiramisu very disappointing although others in my party had different deserts which they enjoyed.

The best restaurant we have experienced for some time. Portions are very large so be warned if you have the garlic bread AND olives youight not have room for a sweet. We certainly did not.

San Giovanni is a great local restaurant with reasonable prices. There was a good atmosphere despite it being mid-week in early January. Great service. Great location. Excellent food.

We love this restaurant, it's local and friendly .... The food is fresh and amazing flavours. The staff are attentive and always good service. I like to go early as it can get very busy.

Food was fab! My husband said the best steak he had had in a long time. Service can be a little slow, but is very friendly. Perfect for an evening out to catch up with friends.

Lovely meal and environment. Corporate entertaining was great and will be using them again for this purpose as well as some personal occasions. Fully recommend

Great food and service. Been here many times now and always fantastic. Fillet steak was cooked to perfection and melted in th mouth. Everyone enjoyed their meal in the group

Even though I booked and paid a deposit we had to wait and hour for food they also didn't deduct the £50 deposit from the bill.

Extremely Friendly helpful staff and delicious food in an authentic Italian atmosphere. Great night with our family to celebrate an engagement, staff made it feel special.

The food was very good but I think they should bring back the early bird menu for week days up to say 7pm or Saturday 2-5pm

It was was my first time at san Giovani but i was amazed with warm costumer service and just to say food was so yummy! Great portions and very tasty. Wilk be back again

The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was presented ok and on warm plates. The vegetables were ok but the the potatoes were soft and overcooked.

We had a lovely anniversary meal here. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is lovely and we received a complimentary limoncello after the meal.

Are visit was for our son Joshua for his university Graduation. The decor in the Restaurant was bright clean and a ancient Roman theme . Food was excellent customer the staff were very attentive. You will enjoy your experience. Garry Shepherd ( Irlam)

Glad we booked as the restaurant was very busy we arrived for our meal at 7pm with friends , the service was very good but maybe a little rushed the dessert plate was removed as soon as the spoon was placed on it .. The food was delicious with good sized portions. Dissapointed tgere was only one choice of rose wine sold by the bottle. The restaurant was very noisy , we will go back but maybe at a quieter time

Under staffed. Waited a long time to serve us drinks. Food average. Very busy though for an early evening & lots of other diners enjoying their experience.

Nice meal, served by friendly Italian staff. I had the filet steak, rare, with porcini accompanied with spinach, well cooked,and fries. Which were all well seasoned and tasty.

Lovely restaurant with a great energy. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. Portions were generous, so make sure you are hungry! :)

The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. Lots of different dishes to chose from but I had chicken pate to start followed by spicy sausage pasta. Would definitely go there again.

The food and service was good. Sadly it was so noisy it was impossible for us to have a conversation. Appreciate the staff have no control over this. It is a sad reflection on modern day society that parents/guardians do not control their children and the noise emanating from them which is to the detriment of nearby diners.

Wonderful dining experience as always, the service is fantastic and the food is amazing every time we go. We love San Giovannis and recommend to everyone!

Amazing restaurant. Delicious, freshly cooked food. Good portions, great value. Friendly atmosphere. Staff great with kids. My little one had time of his life. Worth recommending. Will definitely come back.
