Fabulous food, lovely staff, great wine. We especially enjoyed the donuts and the imaginative vegetarian main courses. We stayed far too late but were never made to feel that we had to leave. It was a perfect evening.
Great discovery for us in the gastronomic wilderness of North London. Unpretentious real food in a relaxed ambience. Highly recommended for quality, value and service.
this is a long standing favourite, good ingredients finely cooked, very small menu but always something inventive and delicious for different diets and tastes, choice of small/large dishes and outstanding chips. A small room, not too noisy, nice staff, you may need a seat pad. The only weakness is the by the glass wine list, which is too limited and not as interesting as it once was.
Simple great food, unpretentious, emphasis on local produce. Nice ambience. Decent wine and attentive service. One of my favourite North London spots. Recommend the steaks and the rhubarb and custard donuts are always a treat.
Good meal in friendly surroundings. Food was full of fresh flavour, service good and the room was busy but not too noisy. Would go again.
Season is a really special little neighbourhood restaurant and one that I am always really pleased to support. Delicious food and a very friendly service with a great atmosphere.
Excellent food and excellent service. The steak was perfectly done – medium-rare and delicious, as were the chips - crispy and crunchy and very favourable. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the food came out in a timely manner.
The food is always good here, and there's a nice atmosphere, plus the restaurant is small so not too noisy. Definitely one of my favourite places for dinner - and the bread is absolutely delicious!
Delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was a little unfocused and could have been a bit sharper and more attentive. Thoroughly recommend the steaks and doughnuts.
We booked here at 10pm after the theatre and stumbled across it online. Amazing food, fabulous service & great atmosphere. Would definitely go back and recommend.
First time visiting this restaurant. We went for dinner pre theatre (Park Theatre, a 3 minute walk). Food , ambiance and service all very good. Simple menu very well done. We will be back.
Friendly service, lovely small neighbourhood restaurant. Small menu but in a good way. The menu changes to reflect the season, and their home made bread is to die for. It is lovely to find a place that feels both special but also down to earth feel about it.
Excellent as always. No frills, just taste. The fish was cooked to perfection & v. tasty octopus starter. The bread is always divine, as although you want to eat all of it, there is always *just* enough. will be back soon!
Lovely meal, lovely ambience, lovely service. A little gem in on Stroud Green Road in Finsbury Park. We will definitely be back. They play a good soundtrack too!
Weve been coming here for years but after our last 2 experiences, no more. Soup tasteless and cold and when i mentioned waiter replied “im not the chef”!! Portions mow mean but prices havent reduced proportionately. A shame because i really liked Seasons as a tad different from others.
Really fantastic and imaginative food. Ranging from steak to great vegetarian choices - all was good. Particularly recommend the custard donuts. Lovely service as well.
The starters and puddings were excellent, but the main course ‘Sunday Lunch’ was far less impressive (poor Yorkshire puddings and thin gravy). We were told later that the Head Chef was away and a deduction was made from the bill. Thank you. Would return when Head Chef is back to try the a la Carte menu.
We had a delicious Sunday Roast, and an amazing dessert - rosemary chocolate mousse and salt, what a discovery. Spectacular, relaxing ambience. Definitely coming back.
They have a creative menu, that is a little pricey. Overall a good experience though, and the food was great. It is a good change of pace to have in the neighborhood.
Delicious food - especially the chips and the duck salad. Reasonably priced and good service (little slow at the end but I prefer that to be hurried with the bill).
The food is tasty and the service is good. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, also I liked their's menu concept. Most likely to come back again.
Friendly, simple, tasty. Excellent, as always. Already looking forward to my next visit. Season has to be one of the best restaurants in the area.
Lovely food, calm relaxed atmosphere. Time to eat, drink and chat without people hovering over you. The chocolate pot is too too good. Went with a friend who is determined to go back soon.
Good food, good service. Was a bit hot in the restaurant, would of been nice to have a few fans to counter the English heatwave!
Fantastic little neighbourhood restaurant - seasonal, fresh food cooked beautifully with an unusual menu and friendly service. Great Sunday lunches too, with the best Yorkshire puddings in London!
Love this restaurant - the new menu style is fantastic and I am SO pleased that they have kept the soda bread! Just a shame that they do not sell whole loaves!
My favourite restaurant in Finsbury Park. Ever changing menu, good quality produce, well-priced excellent wine and great service. Would recommend to those who like good food.
Lovely meat and fish dishes The rosemary chocolates mouse Was gorgeous and service was very good The coffee just didn’t taste up to the standard
The food was fantastic- all three diners agreed - and the service was very considerate and allowed us sufficient time to make choices whilst also being attentive.
Lovely food with fresh seasonal ingredients. Rhubarb and custard donuts a must! Service was friendly and atmosphere buzzy without being too noisy. Good local restaurant.
Great food and a friendly, laid-back atmosphere - a local gem. I live about five minutes away and had always meant to try it. I'm so glad I finally did.
Perfect for pre Park Theatre dinner. Friendly cosy and delicious. The service was attentive and the menu is an interesting mix of English and European favourites.
good food, fine wine, great atmosphere, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very ,very ,very good
Good food, warm atmosphere and friendly enthusiastic service. Go for the rhubarb and custard doughnuts! They are truly amazing and you’ll just be envious of your friends if you order anything else.
Good food. We were in a large group and one of the orders didn't arrive, another's steak was well-done when they asked for medium. It was a Saturday night, they were busy with only 2 servers and it was a little disorganised. Having said all that, the place is packed with atmosphere, unusual vegetable selections, presumably seasonal, and I would go again, but on a different night.
Lovely, quirky place. We have been here before and decided it would be a nice place to take my Mum for Mothers Day. Food was at an excellent level. Felt very welcome.
Always love the food and enjoy the atmosphere here ❤️ Great choice of wine and food - staff always so friendly Bookings needed on weekend as it is very sought after - we will be back again !
Great food and service. Very convenient for pre or post the Park Theatre. Pleasing ambience and reasonable prices. Menu is impressive in being compact and inventive.
Really excellent food - fantastic quality ingredients, delicious flavours and yet down to earth enough to find yourself thinking (albeit briefly) 'I wonder if I could make this at home'? Duck was rich and silky smooth, halibut wonderfully fresh and sweet, salt and pepper squid was perfectly crispy and zingy. Scallops were tasty but a bit small; chips were simply amazing; chargrilled onions with pomegranate was the only dish that didn't really work. A true local gem - and dinner for 2 at under £50 a head with a couple of glasses of wine each as well - top of our list of places to come back to!
Simple but beautifully cooked and presented menu. inventive and delicious sides of seasonal vegetables - wish we could’ve tried them all. Desserts also delightful. Will definitely be back.
