Steak and Cherry

Food was ok . Table booked for 6pm ( pre theatre) Friday evening .It was busy and we werentold that to be out for 7.20 there wouldn't have enough time for a starter - so we had mains only .Drinks service was very slow.

First time at this restaurant. The food is lovely, the staff were really nice, very attentive. It has a great atmosphere, great for a relaxing night out. There is also live music. What more can you ask for.

Excellent service, arrived early and was made very welcome, went above and beyond to go out for fresh ginger ale as the bottle was already opened and flat The food was excellent and presented beautifully Would highly recommend this restaurant

Fabulous food,steak cooked to perfection, sticky toffee pudding to die for, great service, staff are extremely friendly. Great value for money will definitely be back.

Lovely pre-theatre meal at Steak and Cherry. Very attentive waiter and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Will hopefully return in the not too distant future.

Dear sir /madam , Myself husband and two kids have just returned from a not so great first meal . First of all we were approached to order drinks then had no one approach again to order food so had to ask to order waiter was surprised we hadn't ordered yet , we all ordered and I had ordered the bang bang chicken as a main which came out as a starter and was cold , Husband got the haggis bites ( tasteless and over cooked) kids pizza saturated in cheese ( did not eat ) our youngest son spilled his drink and a new one was brought over and we were charged for , main meals arrive and I sit with no food as mine came as a starter. So I leave early to go get the car and the bill comes in at a whopping £65 . Wasted night out waste of £

Very attentive staff who provide an excellent service. The quality of the food was very good. We had the pre theatre which was good value for money. We would definitely return.

Friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere, food was nice if a little undercooked for my taste but overall very nice, cocktails were amazing. Would go back.

The staff were very attentive. Food was quick and very enjoyable. It is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a few drinks. It is also handy for theatre goers as it just round the corner from the kings.

Decided to go here ss it was near the Kinds theatre. So glad we did. Food was lovely, portion sizes good. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Great cocktails too. Would definitely recommend.

Fast friendly service. The food was excellent. The only negative would be that the grilled salmon would have been better if served with some vegetables.

What can I say fantastic meal! We had bang bang chicken it was so tasty! The service was so good loved everything will definitely be back again! Looking forward to working my way around the menu! 😀

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and food was really tasty. 2 of us visited early evening when it was quiet. They got 1 of the starters wrong but it was eaten and enjoyed anyway. They got the main course dips/sauces wrong but were happy to change it when we told them. I'd probably return if I was in the area again.

Excellent service and food was good been quite a few times and doesn't disappoint. I had the steak goujouns which were very tasty and curly fries.

We had the bang bang chicken the batter was soggy then we had steak goujons and they were over cooked burnt and the chips were like reheats very very disappointed won't ever go back

lovely meal and very attentive staff would recommend. I had the baked Goat cheese and fillet steak, hubby had rump steak, both cooked to perfection

We were the only people in the restaurant and they got our order wrong. Ordered chilli nachos as a starter brought out plain nachos and they also brought out 1 of our main meals at the same time First time ivery ever walked out of somewhere

Food was delicious and helpings a good size. Plenty of choice on the menu and staff were very good. Would recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely meal.

The food was excellent and the service very professional. There had been a slight mix up regarding the reservation, not the restaurant's fault, but the staff were sympathetic and very helpful in sorting things out.

We both had quesadillas, mine were chicken which was very sparse!! Unfortunately we both have bad diarrhoea today!! Staff were very nice but don't think we'll be returning!!

Service was very good and wine reasonably priced. Food however was average. Or theatre menu but portions poor horn does chips. Not sure I would recommend

Restaurant was lovely, the food was extremely tasty, you could tell it was freshly made. The location is central but also not somewhere you would want to walk about later on. We had planned on using the tastecard to receive 50% off the food bill, when we ordered we were told this wasn't applied to the steaks.... though it is a steak house! This was quite a frustration- especially when we ordered the mix grill (which included steak) and received the 50% off. After the initial hiccup the food was really nice and I would return for the food alone... the service could be improved.

Service was a bit slow, and for the quality of the food provided, the restaurant was expensive. the ambience wasn't right, either, with the place feeling more like a drop-in centre than a restaurant. My calzone was runny in the middle, although it tasted OK.

I absolutely loved it. Staff were very friendly. And the food was AMAZING! Will definitely be going back soon. Already recommended it to my friends.

The restaurant is in a good location, and easy to find. Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was amazing especially considering the prices, and the cocktails and wine we had were superb. Recommend to anyone looking for quality food at great prices.

Good food, great prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Doesn't look much from the outside but when you step inside its fab! My daughter and niece loved the decor and music! X

Went at 5pm on 29 December 2016. Still hadn't received all our main courses after an hour and three quarters. Had to leave before we had all eaten. Food we did actually receive was mediocre at best with a couple being badly overcooked. On the plus side service was relatively good blender difficult circumstances. Would recommend at all unfortunately.

THE MEAL WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, WE COULD NOT FIND FAULT WITH ANYTHING. FROM THE MOMENT WE ARRIVED UNTIL WE LEFT WAS FIRST CLASS. KEEP UP WITH THE EXCELLENT SERVICE.

The food was good and the service was even better. Have been twice now and have been very satisfied both time! PS. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing!!

Friendly service. Served very quickly. Food arrived hot and quick. Only downside is being served my food on a wooden chopping board, a plate would be great.

Food was average nothing to write home about. We ordered a sweet and one member of our party is still waiting to receive it. Two of the party picked the cheesecake and it was tasteless and dry. Will not be returning

Lovely food and lovely staff, the only down side was that it was a bit chilly where we were seated but would definitely eat here again

Kevin and the chef made sure our Boxing Day treat for the family went without a hitch . We were treated like friends and nothing was too much trouble . Great food ... And even better service

First Class! Great food and great service Went before going to the Hydro and was very impressed! Pasta, burger and calling were all girls class.!
