Tagine

Vegetarian mezze was lovely. We all enjoyed our lamb tagines (there were 4 of us) which were potato and onion and the aubergine and chickpea one. The lamb was so tender and very tasty. It went especially well with the cous cous. The downstairs is very romantic and so ideal for a day night. Also great that we could bring in our own alcohol.

There was some meat in the vegetarian dish so suggests keeping meat preparation separate isn’t great so veggies beware. Others liked their food though. BYO no corkage was a bonus.

Excellent Moroccan food and a lovely atmosphere. The Moroccan mint tea is a must too! Very friendly and helpful staff. One of my favourite restaurants in South London

The food was amazing. Fantastic slow cooked lamb tagine with poached pear and prunes. The service was pretty good too. Overall, I would highly recommend Tagine :)

Incredible food – the best tagine I have ever had. Service was pretty slow, we felt ignored at points and had to keep raising our hands to get anyone over which was a bit awkward. Despite that I would definitely go back.

This restaurant is fantastic, a wonderful BYOB restaurant very close to Balham tube (and Sainsburys for if you need to buy booze!) The food was delicious and great portions and the staff were incredibly friendly - this is the best BYOB I have been to in London.

Brilliant food lovely atmosphere great service and BYO wine. What's not to like? Been going here for several years and it has never let us down.

We just did not enjoy it - £8 pounds for a pot of tea is not nice - all in all not a bargain - with less style as some time ago- the lamb was over cooke - 12, 5% added service charge was a bit over the top. Another restaurant on the NO list....

Good simple Morrocon food, cooked fresh mainly, no booze but you can take your own. Interesting decor and entrance, service was friendly and efficient. Recommend

The food was exceptional. The meat fell off the bone and the chicken was very tender. Variety of food on the menu was good. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Cosy, quirky and authentic spot right by the station. The staff are always really friendly and the mezze board at the state are the best in London. The shisha and byob make this much more than a dinner venue.

Fabulous service and really great food!! Super good value for money too you get large portions and I love that it is bring your own booze :)

Lovely staff and service but underwhelming food - needed more flavour. May have been that we chose all vegetarian options and the meat options are better.

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions. Friendly staff, lovely food, consistent good quality, nice decor and byob. Mamounia fish is very nice.

The service was good, there was a good atmosphere, some of the flavours were good but the chicken was very dry which was very unfortunate. We asked for the main course to be served with a gap after the starter. However, as soon as the starter was finished, the main was brought out shortly after.

Food was very very good. It was Tuesday so not very busy but still a good atmosphere. Servers friendly, if not the most attentive. Recommend!

Great food, loved BYO, the only downside was that the table was too low down so my boyfriends giant legs couldn’t fit under and he was uncomfortable all evening!

Lovely food. It wasn’t busy when we went so we had a very relaxed time. Taking your own alcohol certainly keeps the cost of eating out down.

Very busy restaurant with lots of large groups to the BYO. Nice food, we had the set menu. Staff were nice but service was a little slow

Group of 4 people for dinner on Saturday. Fantastic starters and the kofta and fish tagine sweet delicious. Excellent atmosphere and the restaurant made a great effort for one person’s birthday!

Delicious food in a traditional environment. Good size portions and very friendly staff. I would definitely go back! It's BYO so something to remember. You must try the traditional mint tea....!

We had the best evening here, the food is amazing and traditional and the staff and entertainment were absolutely amazing and super tentative. The decor makes youbfeel like you are in Morocco and the ambience is great! Would highly recommend Tagine and I for sure will certainly be back! Thank you to the Tagine team!

This is my fourth time visiting and each time it has been beautiful food, a lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Great food, great atmosphere and you can bring your own wine! We felt like we had been transported back to Morocco. Loved it and will be back!

The atmosphere was delightful and the decor very authentic. The food was the best Moroccan we've ever tasted. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. we look forward to our next visit.

As usual always a pleasure coming here. Food was lovely we got there early so we had the place to ourselves. Will definitely be returning soon.

Authentic atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. The BYOB option makes a nice change for a restaurant in Balham. Would recommend sharing a selection of smaller dishes .

Really disappointed with the service. Waiter was rude and tried to rush us out on valentines day. It was meant to be a special relaxed evening that was ruined. Will not be returning to this restaurant.
