Tagine

The food was fantastic but the service was a little slow. Which was unusual as normally very efficient . The food arrived quickly. Well worth a visit.

We were offered the choice of where to sit and chose downstairs, it had a lovely atmosphere. Food and service excellent. Had a really enjoyable evening. Will definitely come back.

Excellent as always, my wife and I truly love Zizou Tagine and took some friends there. Friendly staff, such great food and a wonderful atmosphere.

Delicious food and lovely friendly staff. We went with a new baby and pram and everyone went out of their way to accommodate us. Slow roast lamb shank with prunes was fantastic.

Delicious food, opulent decor, very helpful staff who doted on our kids and gave them extra dishes and a free fez each! Wish we'd discovered Tagine sooner. Highly recommended.

Was a lovely evening, venue is very appealing with great atmosphere. Food was decent (not so much for fish and veggie eaters, but that is not unusual) and it is great value for money. Service a little slow.. at least it is hard to get served, but once you order the food came quickly and the staff were working very hard. Would go again.

The food never fails to disappoint and the atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and relaxed. Staff are always friendly and cater to your needs

The staff is lovely and warm, the food is delicious and the place is subtly decorated with lots of love.

We loved the food and service. Delicious. Fruit cocktails very nice and took a bottle of Morroccan red which was perfect with the lamb. Will definitely return and recommend.

Cosy with good food. They were a bit freaked by us turning up 15 mins early but service on the whole good. Bring your own always goes down well.

The food was excellent especially the Tajine. However the service was quite slow and we would have appreciated if they told us so we could order starters. But again we were delighted by the food so it is a big 5

Tagine continue to cook delicious food. The mixed mezzo starter is a must. We then shared a chicken tagine and a lamb tagine. Really welcoming staff.

Great fun, well priced, good atmosphere. They make a big fuss of birthdays! Our daughter had a great 18th there with the rest of the family.

Girls night out - wanted delicious food & a fun venue. Zizou Tagine definitely delivered. Gorgeous Moroccan decor, great atmosphere & really delicious food! What a fantastic find. We will definitely be back!

The food was amazing and staff were great. The aubergine and goats cheese was so so good! Only thing was we were sat near the entrance so got a little cold when people came in if the curtain was left open but it was a very minor problem and definitely wouldn't stop me from going back!

I had an amazing dinner on Wednesday night with my carribean friend who is an owner of 5 French brasserie in London he liked our Algerian dishes the service was impeccable Well done team zizou

Wonderful food and fantastic service. Always feels a bit of a shock to step out to the streets of Balham when you lose yourself in a Moroccan world!

Two out of four of us had really good food at Tagine. Shame about the appalling service. Scruffily dressed waiter mumbled so we couldn't hear a word, was grumpy and unhelpful. Insisted a vegetarian mezze starter was enough food as a main for two adults to share. Unsurprisingly it wasn't enough. Good location, atmosphere and lighting though.

Great food, great staff and a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will visit again for sure. Great for bigger groups and it's byob !

A local favourite that yet again delivers quality dish after quality dish....service is faultless... just remember bring your own drinks to avoid a run across the road to sainsburys

Delicious lamb shank with almonds, pears and prunes, really genuine service and warm, authentic atmosphere.. also it is byob for no extra (ice bucket provided!).. fab
