Excellent Meal & Service really fantastic atmosphere & has become a favourite restaurant of ours now,would recommend the Meat Calzone which was excellent,good value & an excellent place/service all round

Excellent food and outstanding service as usual. The special prawn sauce was delicious.Portion size was ample Good value all round too. Been going for 18 years and that's because it is good.

Great authentic Italian always busy full of atmosphere noisy on Saturday nights but I like happy noise lovely asparagus with scotch egg spaghetti and meat balls yummy

Wonderful setting with great food and great atmosphere. Attentive friendly staff. The food prices were excellent value and the menu was extensive. All in all great choice for families or couples and somewhere I will recommend to my friends and family if they are visiting Glasgow.

Great place, excellent food, friendly staff. Smoked haddock Ravioli is excellent, antipasto has great selection, delicious pizzas and pastas. Looking forward to going back again.

Used to eat regularly here and food was always of a good standard however on this visit both the duck and the steak were over cooked - duck was expected pink and the fillet steak medium rare but sadly neither was as ordered. We were offered a reduction for the steak which we accepted rather than wait but did not complain about the duck - our fault for not doing so. On reflection if we go back we will stick to pasta or pizza. Otherwise it was exactly as we remembered it with great atmosphere and service.

Food and service wasvexcellent as it always is. It was lovely to sit outside and have our desserts and some more drinks also. Definitely be back soon

We really enjoyed our meal. There seemed to be a delay at first but the staff caught up with themselves and all was well. We loved the food which was delicious and well presented. There was plenty to choose from and everything we had was great. Recommended.

Brilliant restaurant. Great service, lovely food, so nice to know it’s in our neighbourhood. Would heartily recommend - although do book, it’s always busy, even on a week night.

My favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Food is amazing....service spot on! Try the haggis cannelloni! The ice cream is absolutely delicious! Such a unique venue too!

Great choice of food and excellent service. There is a wide choice in all three courses and you can also mix menus. Well worth a visit.

fantastic halibut special, with spinach, fennel and leek, and purple gnocchi. Wonderful pasta with chestnuts etc for my partner. Very friendly staff, even though they were very busy.

Food was excellent and the service was good I had the linguine marina and my wife had the chicken and Parma ham then we had caramel cheesecake

The Battlefiel Rest is a fantastic restaurant that never fails to impress. The food is delicious and is one of the very best places to eat in the Southside.

Service great, very quick, food fantastic, huge choice on all menu's, very busy, nice atmosphere about the place, good choice of drinks and were able to provide drinks not on the drinks list. We'll be back.

Enjoyed a lovely meal with family with staff making us feel very welcome. The food was of a very high standard with it being good value for money.

The 3 of us had a fab meal. The only thing was apart from ice cream the deserts were limited. However, there were plenty of flavours.

Friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Starters of bread basket and garlic bread were good although big. Main courses were carbonara, risotto and sea bass. All were tasty. Service was very quick which was good because we were going somewhere else, might have felt too quick if we were out for the night. Overall, I would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Excellent food -we had 2 courses-,great service -,tried to practice my Italian but waitress didn',t speak italia n but overall a great meal and experience. We were very pleased with the price. A great lunch for me and my niece. Thanks.

Very comprehensive menu so loads of choices. Daughter and I were only out for a catch up and to grab a bite to eat. We settled for the 2 course pre-theatre. Very generous portions and the dishes were all good especially the fish cakes.

Booked for a family birthday celebration. Fabulous food and great service. Staff were friendly and efficient on a really busy evening. Overall a lovely meal and experience.

We were seated slightly later than the time we’d booked, around 15 minutes or so, but overall the experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely spectacular.
