Although we have visited The Bluebell before for food, breakfast and lunch, we had never tried the carvery. Having heard good things about it, we tried it today and were not disappointed. We booked a table on line, as we knew it gets busy, we were shown to our table promptly, and the carvery was available immediately. There were 4 roast meats, 4 types of potatoes and at least 6 vegetable choices, along with stuffing and Yorkshire puddings. Servings are small, medium and large, we chose medium, and were very impressed with the generous portions of meat, you could have some of every type, there was no restriction. The standard of all the food was excellent. We didn’t have a desert, we were too full! All the staff were helpful and courteous. We will certainly be returning, and would definitely recommend, but prefer not to as I don’t want too many more people going and not be able to get a seat in future 😂

Absolutely best carvery around for miles and great value. Cider is pretty good as well! The only reason I didn’t give it a 6 is because the table next to us were really loud but the pub and food deserve a 6!

First time we have visited in about 2 years, had pre booked. Food all ok , but do not like the fact that the Carvery is not Self Serve ,strange idea Takes longer !! The Staff were in the main miserable . No smiles from any of them , inc the Chef & the servers helping him or the Lady going around scowling , sorting the tables out holding a device . We felt most unwelcome & will not be returning in a hurry .We even had to find our own reserved Table on arrival as we were totally being ignored . More staff and a smile here and there, would help a lot, to make The Bluebell somewhere we would like to return to . Disappointed as we had read Good Reviews .
