Our first visit to the restaurant based on reviews I read and was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.We were shown to our table straight away which we had pre booked. The service was good slight wait for ordering our drinks but they were really busy.Not a problem. The choice on the menu very good including vegetarian for our daughter.The party of five all thoughrouly enjoyed there food.One thing I will comment on was the really hot plates which was good to many times when you go out your food does not stay hot due to cool plates.Well done Bridge and bay leaf.Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We had a table for 2 booked at 7.30 and were left waiting until 8.15 before we were taken to our seats, then waited another 15 minutes before I finally had to ask for a menu! The service was very slow and the staff seemed very rushed. We did wonder whether the constant stream of takeaway bags that kept coming out had anything to do with it??!!! The actual place is decorated beautifully and it is in a lovely position by the river. The food was ok, probably spoilt by the lengthy wait and the fact I had ended up drinking more than I intended. Probably won’t go again.

Table booked for 7:30 told to sit in bar was served a flat beer and my wife had a wine that hadnt even been in fridge so was taken back, there only seemed to be 3 staff in and taking lots of phone and internet orders everything was rushed and disorganised a lady on the next table also sent her wine back and it returned with ice in,we were shown to our table after a 30 minute wait after waiting another 10 min a lady dropped popperdoms and dips on the table and says back in a min we got up walked over to the bar and paid for our drinks and left and booked a table at Indian nights eastbrideford ( fastastic food and service )

The food was excellent and the staff are really attentive and hospitable. Would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely place in nice surroundings wasn't busy . Staff made us very welcome advised us on certain items on the menu,even made a dish for me with no spice at all as I was going to choose from there English selection . Enjoyed the night very much .

Excellent food and attentive service but overpriced. As an example - £4.40 for a single cup of plain black coffee. The restaurant was cool initially and took time to warm up

This was our second visit in less than a week, again the food and service were superb. The choice on the menu had something for everyone in our party and all enjoyed a very flavoursome meal. Bridge and Bayleaf has a family feel with Mum tacking orders and giving advice on the menu. Thanks for another wonderful evening.

Great food, and good service to celebrate a retirement with a family meal. Only downside was that restaurnt was not very busy so lacked a bit of atmosphere.

Lovely food, pleasant and polite staff, but one point lost for the 15 minute wait from receiving the bill to actually taking the card payment.

Generally a very good meal when we go This time the service was below par. My main tasted as though the chicken had been re heated as very dry Slow with drinks. Oh dear.

Me and my fiancé have now been a few times now and have the food to be fantastic and the service just as good. Would definitely recommend to anyone, the prices are also very reasonable.

Great quality dining, great flavours of north Indian cuisine. Restaurant Manager was very accommodating, and made sure that our experience was perfect. Would definitively recommend this restaurant for that special dining.

As always, the food and service was excellent. The only downside was that it was a little loud in there until later in the evening (although it was very busy and a Saturday night - a testament to their great reputation). Will be visiting again!
