An excellent restaurant the food was excellent with good sized portions. Staff were very friendly polite and helpful. Large selection to choose from on the menu and a very nice venue for situation next to the River Trent and decor was nice. Only negative we found were that the toilet area was very cold but it was a particularly cold evening too which didn't help. Would definitely recommend and we will return again as the experience was so enjoyable.

Lovely restaurant with excellent friendly service. Food was from the additional Christmas menu which was very tasty and good value. Will be visiting again in the New Year!

First time on recommendation, our party of four with very different tastes was made very welcome. Service was excellent, very well paced and considerate. All the food came up to expectations, portions were generous. The cost including drinks,coffee etc was about £25 a head which we considered very fair. Will be going again and recommending to friends

We had a lovely meal with out friends. Although there were 2.large parties in as well as us we found the service was exclellent and the food was of the highest standard We will definitely return.

It's a lovely restaurant with a great service but the food quality is not that amazing the prices too expensive for what it is ..

Very disappointed the food wasn't good not hot in temperature or spice to say my husband had a vindloo the service was terrible had to wait 5 minutes for my rice then had to ask them for side dish 5 times we asked for water, sent back 1 main dish back it was sour gone off! Totally guttered will definitely not be returning.. all of us have had toilet issues straight away!

Great place lovley very clean . Lots of lovely food The staff are very nice you get a warm welcome and they can't do enough for you . I would recommend this and will be going back soon

Staff were friendly and efficient on arrival and throughout the dinner service. Food arrived quickly and they answered the questions in relation to the food. When they weren't happy with the quality they exchanged the item free of charge.

Best Indian Restaurant in Nottingham! Already booked to go back again. The service is fantastic and the portion sizes are great! Lovely setting down by the river too.

The food was excellent as usual but it was a long time coming. Waited approximately 1 1/2 hours for the main course. Service wasn't upto the usual standard. The barman struggled to cope under pressure and it reflected in his attitude towards our party.

Great tasty food; great menu choice with very Good and attentive service; lovely surroundings next to the river they do takeaways as well. We will definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed it. The restaurant itself was clean, nicely decorated and laid out, I liked the riverside location, the food was tasty and the service was brilliant. It would be full marks if my curry had been spicier. It tasted very nice, obviously lots of good quality ingredients but I asked for medium and was very very mild

The food is outstanding, one of the best Indian restaurants within the Midlands. The service is polite and warm without being over the top and the setting by the river is lovely. Whether you visit during winter, when it feels snug or in the summer when the alfresco area is thriving, the restaurant offers something to everyone. Highly recommended. I've eaten here many times over many years and I'm yet to have a bad experience.

The restaurant was recommended to us for our 1st wedding anniversary. The place was great and we had a table overlooking the river. The service was amazing and the food very delicious. We will definitely come again and recommend it to others.

lovely location by the river, we received Fantastic service from all the staff members and the food was brilliant the lamb fell off the fork. will definitely be returning!

I love eating here the service is always good and food was tasty. Not too expensive. Recommend the king prawn tawa or one of the lamb dishes

Excellent food when it arrived, but the wait was too long. In fairness the place was packed and I think all had arrived just before us! Will certainly go again.

Great location, food was cooked to perfection and the staff were very friendly. The only minor problem we had was with parking however this did not spoil a great evening.

the starter onion bhjai was very nice to follow ihad chicken dhesi one of there special receipes and my partner also had onion bhjai and to follow chicken bhuna . the staff were very nice people and made it a pleasant visit

On arrival at the Restaurant we were met by a lady who I must say could have been friendlier on her meet & greet attitude. However once seated at the table the staff were very efficient. There was a large party arrived & they were very noisy which did spoil the ambiance of the evening as conversation was difficult. I appreciate this is not a fault of the restaurant as business is business !! The meal though was really nice & service good.

Lovely staff and had a superb meal the only criticism I have is it felt very rushed from start to finish we were only in there just over an hour

First class food, No1 priority, excellent and friendly service, sensible prices, a good all round evening. Will return and will try to bring more friends. The car parking could be more diceplined, but that's almost impossible.

Good food and service. Restaurant a little cold but it didn't detract from what was a very enjoyable evening. Will go back and would recommend
