We had a delicious fish and chips lunch joining as over 55 club members. Excellent value and beautifully cooked fish. The gluten free option was appreciated too! Thank you

Absolutely amazing experience and well worth the wait for the new restaurant to open. Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish, food was delicious!!!

Had to wait 35 mins for starter (that took 2 mins to prepare). Starters expensive and small. Main course fish excellent. Half lobster a bit feeble - and does even a half lobster have a claw- seemed to be missing!

Excellent personal service, great food and excellent value for money. Even got a carry out box because it was so big! Will definitely be back

My husband and i had a lovely lunch at the Crab & Lobster today. We couldn’t fault a thing. A very good menu, all our food choices were delicious, especially the crab nachos & the king prawn scampi. The service was very good. We will certainly return.

Starters were lovely got a burrata and the squid (only complaint was the tiny bit of bread to go with the burrata, maybe a larger slice or 2). Cullen skink was quite a small portion, was tasty but mainly potato not much fish in our bowl! Battered haddock was lovely. Good, quick service. Juice was very pricey, bottle of diet coke £4.25 was a bit steep!

We had been looking forward to going here for the Lobster Thermidor for a special occasion. Unfortunately we were left disappointed as soon as we were met by front of house at 6.00pm when we were told they had no Lobster or Mussels left, so this put a damper on our evening right away as I also wanted mussels as my starter. To start we opted for the crab nachos (£10.00) to share which was good. Then I ordered the Jumbo fish Supper (£18.00) and my wife ordered the standard one (£15.00) which came promptly, but to be honest we struggled to tell the difference between them when they arrived. I had a small portion of mushy peas (£3.00) which weren't very good. The fish was cooked in batter but there was more batter than fish. The chips were just ok. You also have to wait a while for salt , vinegar and sauce as they are not on the table and the waiter has to go away and fetch them. Overall I expected better for the price they are charging. There is a 10% service charge added to your bill which you need to ask to be removed if required which is something I'm not in favour of. Overall it was disappointing as we felt it was overpriced and not as good as some of our local fish and chip restaurants. We had driven 40 minutes for a Lobster at the Crab and Lobster Shack which had no Lobster.

The food was great, nice modern restaurant and good menu options. Staff were all very pleasant, especially Juan who was attentive and chatty.

Food was great , and staff friendly new small and plastic cups for children as a glass isn’t really suitable for a two year old .

I had some oysters and the lobster and my wife had fish and chips, all of which was great. We also had the warm sourdough bread with seaweed butter and it was disappointing. The bread was like a sliced loaf and the butter was pretty tasteless. Service and ambience was great as were the drinks.

Food was amazing and great quality. One downside was spending £16 on the scallop starter for 2 small scallops. It tasted great but wasn’t worth the money.

Great new place for Seafood. Food is excellent fresh and served with care and attention. Will definitely return.

Don’t get me wrong what we did have to eat was lovely but disappointing that there was no Lobster, mussels or fish of the day available. Great chips

Visited this afternoon (Sunday 14th June) and had a wonderful meal. Staff were so welcoming, especially to our two young children and offered pencils and colouring in sheets. The food was absolutely excellent. We will definitely be back soon!

Food and service fantastic. Only downside was a wait for wine as not chilled and no ice and no cranberry for a cosmo. Teething probs as otherwise excellent.

Lovely food, seasoned well, cooked perfectly and arrived in good time. Service started really well but at the end we were sat there finished with our food and empty plates for 15minutes before I could finally catch someone’s eye to get the bill.

Food we had was really nice. Charged extra £3 for mushy peas with fish and chips not advised this was extra at time (don’t even like mushy peas and portion was tiny). Ordered what I thought was starter of oysters for £9 charged £18. Wanted this place to be good but hate being ripped off.

The server made a mistake and sent all our dishes out at the same time. Getting starter and mains together was too much and made us feel rushed. New staff and new venue so mistakes happen. The music kept going on and off during our meal but the food was lovely

Nice lively restaurant inside nice colours and very friendly staff and didn’t wait long for the fish and chips order at all and the freshness of the fish and chips outstanding.

Visit to try the new crab and lobster, had the haddock and chip and tried the sharing starter. All food very good. Service excellent

Had a nice meal enjoyed the haddock very crispy batter, don’t agree with charging for peas. Husband had scallops lobster tail and steak he said it was nice. Waited a bit for mains. Staff nice.

We visited on the first day it was publicly open. Staff were very welcoming and the food and drinks were nice. The staff are still learning he menu and ironing out the service - but I’m sure it will be perfect soon!

Lovely venue, tastefully fitted out. All staff members were very friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. For an opening day visit I thought everything was very well organised. Would highly recommend this restaurant with a handy car park which also has a click and collect facility. Definitely worth a visit.....we will be back

Newly opened so a couple of teething issues but nothing that spoiled our meal. We shared the crab nachos which was excellent value and a generous amount of crab mayo. Not a hugely varied menu but obviously crab, lobster and other seafood options available as well as limited turf options. We had good service and I'm sure it will become excellent as the staff become more experienced. Food was very hot and great quality.

Need to offer fish with bread crumbs not all like batter like myself and only option was batter did spoilt visit a bit
