Excellent food & excellent service - not a huge venue however we visited on a Saturday afternoon & it was great. Staff friendly but not intrusive in any way - really excellent & will definitely be returning.

Fantastic seafood restaurant! Great menu, plates beautifully presented, good choice of wines. Plenty of attentive, friendly staff. Situated right next to Shields Rd subway. Will be back again soon.

Very attentive staff, comfortable interior, easily accessible, great specials board - and tasty food as usual. A small, cosy and intimate setting but doesn't ever feel crowded.

Very disappointing. We understood that the Chef had been trained at The Gamba. If so his food was nothing like the quality at The Gamba. He copped out on the produce and the sources by covering the plate of scallops with a huge amount of salad lettuce etc. The starter of prawn and sea base tartare was so small and uninspiring it was not worth the cost. We unfortunately will not eat there again although we do buy fish from the shop and will do in future.

A warm welcome awaited as we arrived. The service was attentive yet not overwhelming. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Already planning our next visit.

Unfortunately I was ill and didn't join the lunch party, but the other 5 had a lovely lunch; my husband said the grilled sole gougons were excellent. As was the bream and other dishes.

Visited for a birthday celebration midweek. First time visit on a cold winters night. Received a warm welcome on arrival. Went for the set menu. , starters of mackerel and salmon, mains were smoked haddock and sea bream. Chocolate pave dessert and cheese and biscuits finished a lovely meal. Would recommend this restaurant definitely, good value.great food, cosy ambience. Cant wait to go back.

The food was absolutely amazing, the best fish dishes I have had in a long time. I went with my parents and they loved it as well. Staff were very friendly. A definite hidden gem.

Good food at reasonable prices, we were asked to free up the table by 8:30pm which was fine, with 15 minutes left we asked if we could move to the bar area to perhaps have deserts or coffee but this was not possible either!

Great food and service. Would normally eat in the West end when visiting Glasgow but now there is a reason for crossing the river to the Southside. Will recommend.

Lovely food , spoiled for choice if you love fish , nice ambiance and lovely helpful staff that are happy to walk through the ingredients with you . Fish People's Café might not be City Centre but worth going just a wee bit out of town to get a fabulous dinner . Keep doing what your doing we will be back !

A little gem of a seafood restaurant just beside Shields Road Subway Station. Not where you would expect to find first class seafood. Well worth a visit.

Food excellent as ever and very imaginative. I thoroughly enjoyed my stone bass in a ginger and cream sauce. Service is unobtrusive but impeccable. I will return.

Don't be put off by tis locations. Have been several times and tis always great. Last night meal was absolutely perfect. The service was first class and all in all great value for money.

Only a small restaurant but food was excellent. For 2 mains and the deserts and bottle of Malbec for £66. Service was friendly and helpful.
