With several locations in Manchester, The Font is well known for their super cheap cocktails, delicious bar bites and hip decor, and over in leafy Chorlton they don’t need to miss out on the action either. It may be less student-y than The Font’s city centre and Fallowfield locations, but at The Font in Chorlton you’ll find the same great drinks deals and one of Manchester’s biggest collections of beer with close to 200 available! Tuck into The Font’s big breakfast, feast on an international dish like the Goan masala mackerel or share the meze board while sipping on a cocktail or some craft beer from the lengthy list. You’ll find The Font’s Chorlton location on Manchester Road, book a table and head on over!
Staff really attentive and really friendly. Food was really good and well presented. Very nice atmosphere all round enjoyable evening was had by all of us.
Excellent quality food, particularly the hot cooked meats, slaw, wedges and brownie. Tinder toffee brownie was best brownie ever! Good value with Man Con voucher.
Been here many times and love it, the staff are always friendly, the food is delicious and they have a fantastic selection of beer. Only downside is the door didn't seem to close properly, and with people coming and going a lot it did get cold as we were in the first half of the bar, this has never been an issue before it was just the extreme weather outside, but did make us cut the evening short and go home to put the heating on!
Great friendly service. Food is excellent value for money. Wonderful cocktails - highly recommend the raspberry chocolate espresso martini. Being able to book a table is a bonus.
Some of the food was great but the Korean chicken was not like it was described in the menu. Rather than being a sticky glazed thigh it was squishy tasteless slop on rice. Malaysian beef stew was lush and great selection of beers. Staff really friendly. DJ started about 8 and was playing awful music, some jazz fusion eighties toss. Before that music was great.
It was a lovely day outside so we were able to sit on the conveniently placed front sun terrace and enjoyed the mixed mezze, vegetarian mezze and pizza. Averagely tasty but nothing special. Price very reasonable and good drinks selection.
I really enjoyed the drinks and food. All delicious and very affordable. Also if you have children, it is a very child-friendly place. Nice big sitting area, cosy and welcoming.
Food was nice enough, although it definitely seems like more of a place to drink rather than eat. It was reasonable value for what we got.
Very busy, ran out of lots of dishes, we were told we had to share plates as they didn’t have time to wash any, female bar tender kept calling me ‘babe’ which was poor
