Would have prefered a choice from the full menue rather that the Christmas Fare. But what we we had was delicious as always.

Excellent all round, food was very tasty and full of flavour and portion size was exceptional, service was quick and efficient, value for money for quality of food that was served,

The atmosphere was a little noisy, but the Christmas menu had a good choice for each course.

Absolutely beautiful we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and staff were brilliant. Sheila Belcher Merry Christmas to all.

Little issue with one of the main dishes but all was sorted promptly. Apart from the blip all meals and staff were first class, as always.

All fine but the menu font was so small that we couldn't read it!

Very traditional venue in the countryside. Service is excellent, very attentive, with an excellent choice on the menu with dishes not so traditional. The food is always presented well, very tasty and plentiful. Would recommend.

First time we had eaten here in ages and it didn’t disappoint. Food, wine, staff and environment as we remembered which is quality and cosy. A couples, friends and family setting with well behaved children on a Sunday afternoon was a lovely treat. Thankyou 🥰

We thought the staff were amazing the food was ok, we felt the serving of potatoes was poor for 3 people. The vegetables were ok. My Husband had the pork stroganoff he felt the pork wasnt as nice as it could have been (it tasted as though it had been cooked and not cooked from raw?) We didn't make a fuss as my Sister had treated us) The sweets were lovely and the samosas before the main meals were really nice. Kind regards Glenys Putnam

We have been eating at the Fountain for many year, last night was to celabrate our 26th Wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, my food was poor. I had Gnocchi as a starter which was dry and tasteless. For my main, I had the Monk Fish which was over cooked and dry with very little sauce, the dauphinoise potatoes were also very dry. However we did speak to the manager regrading the meal and she agreed to removed both items from the bill, she was disappointed that we had not enjoyed our evening. To finish on a positive my wife's food was okay!!
