We have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. Fabulous food wonderful staff and relaxed atmosphere.

It's 30 years since I had the Tandoori Fish aka Mackerel curry/KC Curry and it was as great as I remembered 😀 the rest of our party also thoroughly enjoyed their curries too. The service was also fantastic 🤩

The food was fine, but the service was charmless and disorganised, the decor is scruffy and it was really chilly. Wouldn’t bother going again

This place is an institution. We loved everything about Great Kathmandu from their own brewed lager to the Mo Mo’s, the Makhan Chara curry and Kathmandu Bhotowan. Will hundred percent be going back!

Starters were hot and presented nicely. Very disappointed with mains they were Luke warm. I mentioned it to the manager reservedly considering that I am introducing a lot of new customers and brought a friend to experience The food. He did not apologise or offer some form of compensation.

Great. Going for years and brought some friends from the Nederlands and they loved it too.

Food was great as usual but the service wasn’t as good as we have come to expect. We had to ask for the water we had ordered theee times before it arrived and then when it did they only provided 2 glasses for our table of 6. We had to leave our seats to get attention. Always had a great experience over the decades but latterly the service has tailed off a bit.

Food is nice but the service is pretty bad. The waiters were rushing and impatient throughout our visit. For an easy going group we were made to feel pretty unwelcome.

Prawn chilli was amazing, highly recommend if you can handle spice
