Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great value for money

Roast chicken still had blood in it when it was served. Overall roast meat was dry, vegetables either very hard or very soft. Nobody asked how our food was. Had to wait to order puddings. Ordered 4 kids puddings only 3 came out so had to chase.

Very nice meal tonight. Pub was quite busy, lots of people in the bar and eating as well. Very large portions.

Good food with generous portions. A bit crammed in on this occasion (table 14).

Great food and customer service. Would definitely return to this pub.

We booked a table for nine and it was ready for us when we arrived. However, the seating was tight but a member of staff quickly brought over another small table. We understood there would be a wait for the food as it is freshly prepared but the wait was not over long. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. We will return!

Regulars seem to take priority over other guests, seeing as the restaurant was not full, food took a long time to arrive, I ordered a captain spice rum and Pepsi max, I got a captain spice rum coffee?? Roast potatoes were cooked in garlic. I don't like garlic, veg were rock hard, we had to offer more gravy. No mint sauce,crackling was dry. Good thing is I'm really looking forward to my Christmas dinner now. My wife could show them how to cook a roast dinner😳😳😳😳😳

Good , hot , wholesome food . The pie of the day was served with lots of veg and a jug of gravy . The bowl of chilli was tasty and satisfying .

I had a phone call on day prior to visit to advise we would need to Pre order if we wanted the Christmas menu. The staff were friendly and efficient. We look forward to our next visit😀😀😀😀😀

Food was hot and served within an acceptable time. Sauce was not offered but was provided on request.

I’ve been several times and it’s always first class for a pub meal. Great value, lots to choose from and deliciously home cooked.

An excellent roast lamb. Food was lovely and hot with fresh vegetables. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I feel that the food was expensive for what it was,the roast was overcooked and dry,the seafood was nice but not worth the money. The service was good but I don't feel that we will want to come back soon.

This is a very nice little pub. However the bar staff could do with some training on who is next to be serviced instead of just service the locals first.

The food was lovely, however experience was spoilt by some extremely loud man sat at the bar who felt the need to let the rest of the place know his betting habbits, that he has a nagging wife(although whilst he in the pub, she probably enjoying the peace and quiet)and his language was not pleasant. I think patrons drinking at bar should be mindful of the diners. Or maybe pub should be sectioned off between diners and those men just want to drink.
