The Horse and Groom - Lincoln

All the members of staff that we dealt with were pleasant. What we ordered was very good and arrived without having to wait an overly long time. I would gladly eat there again and recommend it to family and friends.

Excellent all round. Friendly, professional service - we were made to feel welcome and our custom appreciated. The overall atmosphere and decor was warm and relaxing whilst the food was exceptional. We had the chickpea and spinach burger for a change from meat and would definitely recommend it. The steak pie was also full of very tender, flavoursome steak, lovely gravy and well cooked vegetables. Our first visit and also our pleasure to highly recommend The Horse and Groom in Lincoln. One tip - don't forget to tap your car registration number into their easy computer screen before you sit down. Great system.

Great staff can be busy but need patience worth waiting

Good food and good service. The menu offers a good choice and is very good value. Don’t forget to try the cream brûlée’s pudding it’s the very best

First time I’ve been to the Horse and Groom. Absolutely loved it. Great food, lovely staff and brilliant atmosphere.

The pub has a wonderful atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. Staff are very polite. Beer is very good. Food is fantastic. Service, second to none. There is absolutely nothing not to like about this establishment. Wish we were in Lincoln for a few more days. Brilliant place.

Sunday lunch was on the main good. But vegetable portions were risible. One carrot and one and a half potatoes. Little mash,mange tout and cabbage ? were insufficient. Need to order extra veg

sat outside and even though its next to the road, the patio area is so lovely you don't notice the cars!

Great food. Only observation was music levels. I had a guest with a hearing aid and the sound level made it difficult for him to hear our conversation.

Excellent food and service for our meal on sat night

The table candle had melted all over the table. The service was good. Staff friendly. The main was nice but not as good as previous visits. Roasts were tough to cut through. Al dente great but too much almost raw. It's a shame as past visits have been 5 star excellent this. Maybe it was a one off and hopefully next time is better. Not enough to stop us from returning.

Great pub with very extensive menu. I am coeliac and found many options that I could eat and the food was lovely. Connor our waiter was also very attentative.

Very nice evening,the meal was excellent,great customer service,the only negative was that after 2 pints of mild,they ran out so I had to choose another beer which wasn’t as nice,slightly disappointing that!

Every time I have visited the Horse and Groom the food and service has been impeccable. It's such a lovely place to go with friends and family for a chilled lunch or evening meal. Absolutely superb 😍

Food drink and service was very good. One little thing we waited about 25 minutes for our deserts they were worth the wait.😉

1st Class Experience. Service was friendly, staff with a good sense of humour, attentive but not overly so. Menu was very good as was the wine list. Food was superb and we could not find fault at all, apart from the Cappuccino that was actually a flat white, despite the waiter stating that he knew how to make a good cappuccino! His colleagues will be giving him lessons! :-)

Pleasant pub, good choice, would go again Good to get roadworks completed outside, it detracts from entry which is a great shame

We went for Guilt-Free Feast Night and it was excellent. The food was tasty and the portions were fine. The starters were both really good. The fish pie was fine, excellent topping and lots of fish but just a bit bland. The steak was v good quality but very slightly burnt with that bitter taste. The banoffee dessert was to die for! Fast and friendly service, nice atmosphere. We will be back!
