Superb food and very enthusiastic and helpful staff. Nothing more to say except i need to write twenty five words before i can post a review.

Lovely meal and great service, served in a great location, handy for the Wigrams Turn Marina and I will certainly use the Kings Head again.

Great atmosphere, fab food and lovely staff. Highly recommend, wide and varied menu, great choice of drinks available. Nice to be able to try the Parma Violet gin!

The staff are excellent, treat you as customers, and SMILE! The menu choices were what you would expect to see in a top class city restaurant and the quality and presentation were faultless. All in all, the food here was easily on a par with most of the 5 star restaurants that we have experienced, both here and abroad.

Lovely pub restaurant. Very attentive staff and superb food. We were served promptly and had our meal in a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure on us to leave our table.

The food was delicious as usual but the service was very slow. We had to eventually cancel our dessert order after waiting over half an hour, as our guests had a long journey ahead and couldn't wait any longer.

We dine at this restaurant quite a lot as our local village pub is currently closed... the food is always superb especially the Sunday roasts which are great value. The staff are all very friendly and it’s a great cosy atmosphere.

Food was delicious, service was very good and the ambiance was lovely. We have been here many times and is by far the best pub in the area to eat in. The beer is Hook Norton so brilliant as well. More expensive than other pubs in the area but well worth it.

it was steak night and my rare steak was cooked to perfection.

It's not just the great food but the service is good as well. The puddings, especially the reconstructed black forest gateaux .

We always enjoy visiting the King’s Head. The food is delicious and there is always a friendly atmosphere. Good choice of beers and wines. The warm scotch egg is a must.

Lovely food in a really nice restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A very busy night so a few slips along the way but these were all apologised for and sorted out. We will definitely return.

Very pleasant staff and a nice meal. A popular venue with the locals, offering a good choice of food on the menu. The staff were very helpful when it came to my request for a gluten free meal, and the food was well presented. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Arrived just before 7.30 for dinner, the bar and restaurant were both full with at least 3 very large parties, we thought there might be a bit of a wait for food but were pleasantly surprised when we had ordered and our main courses were in front of us within 20 mins. We have eaten here a number of times and I always have the same, The Beef Wellington which was on as a special, why they took this masterpiece off of the main menu is beyond me. The food was excellent, service attentive and polite, what more could you ask for. My only recommendation would be you reinstate the Beef Wellington on to the regular menu.

Food was fantastic as was the beer. It was very busy so the service was erratic and could have been improved by more staff being present.

Good food and pleasant staff. We had to request extra cutlery & ketchup twice- but it came. Menu is quite varied and better than 'pub grub'. Would definitely go back.

Sunday lunch for 3 adults and one 18 month old. Very accomodating with the little one, had a great childrens menu, very friendly staff, and fantastic food.

Sunday 25/02/18 Had two starters & then had two Sunday main meals. The 2 starters was just warm to cold not Hot( The haddock fish cakes) was disappointed with the starters. Service was good apart from starters
