Lovely meal and great service, we had Sunday lunch. Complete menu was explained and all very appealing- food hot, good choice of meats lovely experience

Just back from a lovely lunch at the Kings Head. The food ( minute steak) was great. Omelettes are massive! Staff too, as always, were attentive and polite . The ambient temperature was a bit cold though - needed the heating on a bit more. Otherwise great.

My family and I visited on a Friday lunchtime. It was super peaceful and The Kings Head has a superb menu at this time. All three of us chose different mains and puddings, not one could pick fault. The service was impeccable, particularly by the barman. We will certainly continue to come here for the foreseeable!

As always, a fantastic experience with great food at low prices. The atmosphere is always pleasant, regardless of whether it’s full or quiet. Staff are friendly and try to accommodate for all needs.

Amazing food and service. This is my 4th visit, and it still maintains its quality in service and food. I had the pork and chorizo burger, with pineapple and cheese on the Tuesday night burger night. so even better value that usual!

Food and service was excellent. The menu has interesting choices alongside traditional items such as steak. The deconstructed Black Forest gautux is fantastic and I would highly recommend it

Love 💖 this place. Great food (& choice) & staff & atmosphere , so welcoming. Had a lovely meal on New Year’s Eve our latest visit. The food was amazing & delicious as always. Highly recommend this place & also the rhubarb gin with ginger ale!! We don’t eat out often but when we do it is a pleasure to come to the Kings Head xx

My family and I come back to this pub time and time again. We’ve never had a bad experience here and thoroughly enjoy the food.

Thoroughly great food all staff were extremely pleasant didn't have to wait long for our food even though they were busy ...definitely will be going again

Went for Burger night, had a super greasy burger, was a bit too greasy... at the end of the night.. the meal was nice. it was my mistake because I Was truly feeling a steak. You should definitely try a steak night!!!! People would dig it, including me whom will be coming back for one of your steaks.

1st class venue with excellent food and beer which is nectar,keep up the hard work as you have a pub which is what the public should be looking for. Have a merry Christmas.

A superb meal served by efficient and friendly staff. The pub has a great atmosphere and a warm cosy feel. All of food was beautifully presented cooked perfectly and tasted marvellous. Can’t wait to go back as there is a very diverse menu so plenty to choose from.

Great meal as usual, it was lovely to come in out of the snow to find a roaring fire to warm ourselves by and a warm welcome from the staff, many thanks.

The service was fab, and the food was amazing, we both had the duo of beef and there was. I thing I could fault it was like heaven, super steak and slow cooked beef came like a cottage pie, can’t stop thinking about it all day ♥️

had a lovely eating experience. we had to wait a while for our food order to be taken but they were very busy with a large group and the atmosphere in there was conducive to sitting and chatting. beautiful food well presented. will definitely be on our favourites list

The food was excellent the staff pleasant and helpful a most enjoyable evening the only down side was we chose a night that a party of young lades were having a contest on who could be the loudest however it is Christmas time and they enjoyed it will be back at some point in the future worth a visit

just the beat Sunday roast around. blade of beef and lamb with Yorkshire pudding and veg. Perfect. love this pub for food

The food was brilliant the service was good - there wa one small niggle and that was I sat on a bench seat with my back to the door and every time someone went outside to have a cigarette and opened the door I got a blast of cold air down the back of my neck -(and given that it was below freezing outside) was a little uncomfortable, so I would like to make a suggestion to you, it might be a good idea to place a barrier at the back of the bench to stop the fraught which ruined an altogether lovely evening.

Table ready when we arrived so no delay in being seated. Service of both drinks and food good by a happy friendly team. Quality of food good especially the venison special.

Lovely lunch as always. Fish cakes were really good with a great sauce. Puds were presented well with good flavours and combinations. Service was polite.

The staff are always lovely. The service is excellent and the food is always delicious. I can’t have dairy and there is never any problems.

As regulars I can honestly say we always enjoy excellent food and exceptional service every time. They always cater for food intolerances and it’s a delight to have a choice of g/f deserts and lots of g/f gravy on my roast.

Always a great Sunday lunch. Very friendly team and the food is really excellent. We both had shin of beef and lamb and you get all the trimmings. I wish we had room for pudding because they are great too, but we were so full from our mains we couldn't managed a pud. Will definitely be back.

A well run pub with a range of great food served by pleasant and competent staff. Prices are reasonable and certainly a venue I shall return to.

Great food, big portions, lovely staff. There were 11 of us in the group and we all had a really lovely meal. Very noisy sharing space with one other large group

The atmosphere is very relaxed while still being professional, staff are always very pleasant and helpful and interact well with customers, there is a good selection of quality food excellently cooked. On the many occasions we have eaten there we always leave feeling we have had a good evening enhanced by a great meal.
