Excellent food. Lovely waiter. Bit pricey with wine on top. Spent £220 for 2 of us. Also, a minor suggestion, we felt that the lighting could be more atmospheric as it was a little too bright and stark.

An absolutely flawless evening. The food and wine were superb – the wine pairing was perfectly judged alongside every sublimely executed amuse bouche, fish course and heavenly dessert – and Rob on front of house, like a swan gliding on the surface whilst it’s feet paddled like mad under the surface, made everything seem effortless. A ten minute chat with chef Duncan towards the end of the evening capped my birthday dinner to perfection. We have nothing but admiration and praise for the team at The Little Fish Market who are justifiably amassing accolades from far and wide. We’ll be back!

As always exceptional food, but somehow even better than normal. Four different appetisers before we even got on to the first course! So although obviously the set menu is not cheap, to us with six courses plus all the extras it felt like really good value. Did the wine pairing for first time, wow we will now have to do it every time! Finally, and just as importantly as the food, is the front of house from Rob. He always makes you feel like you are a returning friend, his knowledge of the food and wine is exceptional and he makes the whole evening an extremely enjoyable experience. Thank you both.

4-person table is in middle of room. They were noisy when we ate :(. I wish 4-person table was long wall to give a bit more space from couples who want some quiet.

I think for a little kitchen its difficult to get the meals out for everyone swiftly we were waiting. The waiter was exceptional. some of the dishes were quite samey.

This place just gets better and better. Our third visit with friends who’d not been before and they LOVED it. Creative and delicious dishes made with exceptional quality ingredients, exquisitely presented. Just the right amounts of each arriving at just the right time preceded by three incredible amuse bouche. The service is excellent and seamlessly managed by just one person, the staggered booking system allowing this with a gentle stream of diners arriving and leaving. A very laid back and enjoyable evening. I now just have to invent another special occasion so I can return soon.

A wonderfully hot spring evening to celebrate a birthday! Brighton heaving so lovely to reach the cool, calm interior of TLFM! Warmly greeted as ever by the charming and knowledgeable host, Rob, who keeps the whole front of house and the serving of the stunning menu and beverages timed to perfection! Five fish courses plus plus (the warm egg yolk served in an eggshell was superb and such fun) we came away most satisfied having delighted in lobster, turbot, salmon and sea bream amongst other additions. Just try to avoid the bread- impossible! Every time we come (4th visit I think) we always wonder why we left it so long! Thank you Duncan and Rob, for a truly enjoyable evening where both the food and the service took centre stage!

Excellent. A very well balanced and delicious menu. Very high level of cooking and the best ingredients. The service too was perfect. I hope I can have a table again. The restaurant is tinny.;!

Exceptional food. Great wine pairing. For me of particular note we’re the banana tart as a don’t do cooked bananas but the small tart tasted exquisite. Fish was perfectly cooked with particular note was the salmon and the spring on a plate bream dish. Memorable meal. Thank you
