Top quality food, easily the best in Brighton. Perfectly fresh fish, subtle sauces and flavours. Not over fussy. Everything on the plate is carefully crafted.

Incredible table service and attention to detail from the waiter. The fish courses were perfectly cooked and each one exciting to taste. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the pudding.

This was one of the best meals dining experiences I have ever enjoyed. Every dish was interesting and beautifully prepared. The combinations were brilliantly combined with their wine taster menu. The restaurant and the staff combined to make a relaxed meal that continually surprised you with each dish. I can't recommend this restaurant any more strongly, it's a must go place, definitely worth the every penny.

Exceptional restaurant. We arrived a bit before they opened on a rainy November evening and they could not have been more welcoming. The service was great throughout the meal. The set menu consisted of 4 excellent fish courses, one chocolate pudding plus two mise en bouche courses. Excellent presentation. We took the matched wine with each course, a very good decision.

For a special occasion, this restaurant, assuming you like fish (!) is amazing. Each course is a masterpiece and of course delicious. Both times we have been, we have had the paired wine - one between us and that has been even more special, having someone who knows choosing very good wine to match each course.

The little fish market is hands down Brighton’s best restaurant. The food is just exquisite, one dish of perfection after another. We have been several times and it just never disappoints.

Assumptions that restaurant appealed only to arrogant foodies proved so wrong. Service friendly, warm, food and wine superlative. By no means cheap for a town like Brighton, however considerably worth it. Most enjoyable evening

Exceptional food and exceptional service in an entirely non-pretentious setting. Each of the five courses offered something unique and were prepared and delivered with perfection.

We enjoyed every morsel of the taster menu. In fact a think the scallop starter was the best I have ever eaten. Service was friendly, and knowledgeable.

Perfect night, perfect food, perfect service, not too loud, not too many customers... the ONLY one thing I would say is the stained basin in the toilet was surprising, but it didn't ruin a fantastic meal!

It was a delightful meal with several taster courses and about three appetisers. My friend and I enjoyed it. It is always a matter of personal taste. I found some of the dishes a little bland and they could have been improved with some pepper. Overall, however, it was very good. I am not, however, convinced that the pricing is right. It is expensive and would benefit from a price cut of about 10% on the cost of the food. This would make it more competitive with other similar operators in Brighton and Hove.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Brighton & Hove. The service was excellent, delicious food (every course was mouth-watering!) and perfectly matched pairing wines. I highly recommended this place!

Service was exceptional. An awful lot of care taken with getting the balance of the meal right. Although the premises are fairly small, the space has been cleverly designed to make sure seating is not too close to your fellow diners. The three complimentary appetisers were superb -the Parmesan biscuit , could have eaten a tray full! Followed by mackerel with horseradish,then monkfish, then skate in divine sauce, then wild bass with crab (the seared sweet corn,amazing) followed by intense flavoured blackberry sorbet and rich chocolate delice. At £65 pp the quality of the food is remarkable. This was an outstanding dining experience for us.

Took my mum to Little Fish Market for her birthday. Rob on front of house gave us amazing service and the food was brilliant. My mum said it’s the best meal she’s had in Brighton and she rates it higher than Mirazur (top 5 in the world)

The food was excellent with 5 delicious and varied courses. Maybe my wife and I were too hungry but we were grateful for the large slice of bread halfway through the meal! The setting is no nonsense and tables happily set a sensible distance apart. There's a lot of hard surface which did nothing to dull the sound of a rather loud gentleman on the other side of the restaurant which was very intrusive to start with until the restaurant filled up more. Generally a very nice experience with great food and very attentive service from the friendly and knowledgable host although slightly let down by the 'back of house' downstairs lobby and shared wc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We had a great experience and felt very well looked after. The food was amazing and the waiter suggested various wines which were a perfect match with the food. 100% recommend this beautiful little restaurant 😊

Amazing food but appalling service don’t go there! Unless you are happy to spent 250 quid on a very boring four hours of waiting to be served by one person.

Every mouthful was a delicious delight. We had been looking forward to our visit and we were not disappointed. The front of house man was charming and very knowledgeable about the wines and each course. The canapes were gorgeous and the wines paired with the dishes were perfectly chosen. We loved it and will definitely be returning.

This was my second time here and it was every bit as good as the first. The food is sublime and the service faultless. Duncan and Rob run such a smooth operation between them and that makes for a truly wonderful evening. If you can get a booking then go, you won't regret it.

Our expectations were high, having read the reviews, but these were exceeded! It is a complete and immersive experience. A six rating is deserved on the food alone. Every appetiser and course was a deep explosion of flavour and prepared with precision and perfection. We opted for the complementary wine pairings which just enhanced the experience further. The service was impeccable, attentive but unobtrusive, making you feel like a house guest. Having a table from 7 for the whole evening without being rushed at any time was so refreshing. Time stood still but reality struck when we realised we’d missed the last train! That could not spoil a wonderful experience and it was worth every penny!

Another fantastic eating experience. The Little Fish Market will feed you a fish tasting experience of perfectly prepared food of excellent quality that that brings out the core flavours of the the fish. As usual we went for the wine tasting menu which was also excellent.

A sublime treat, one of the best meals I've ever eaten. I'm normally wary of set menus but this one worked really well. Each dish was delicious and together they built to a crescendo. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the seating really nicely spread out which we enjoyed a lot. A wonderful place for a celebration !

Great place if you are looking for great fish, served in small dishes - within a set menue. We had 5 courses for 69 Pounds, and you can choose also an wine pairing for additional 40 or so. You will have a chance to indulge in great combinations, perfectly cooked fish, great sauces. Rounded of with perfect service quality...what do you want more in Brighton? Expect to book ahead in season.
