Outstanding food. Looked and tasted amazing. Great service which was friendly and informative. Excellent white wine. So pleased to find a restaurant of this quality in the Brighton and Hove area.

Best restaurant in Brighton without a doubt and the staff are superb, not many restaurants where you can and must pop to the restaurant for a chat with the head chef/owner!!

Disappointing. Eccentric. Very slow service. Four courses comprising small taster portions of fish. Well cooked but unoriginal. Weak flavours, mostly sauces. No servings of vegetables or salad, just used as garnish. Wine good but pricey.

Superb food with a balanced variety of fish and sauces; even the bread and butter were excellent, and the friendly informative service framed a wonderful meal.

The second time we've been - another great eating experience. Come here if you like the concept of being taken through a number of a number of interesting dishes cooked to perfection with matching wines. But it's not cheap though.

Another spectacular meal at the Little Fish Market . Each course was of such a high standard but the red mullet was this menu’s standout - try it while it’s still on!!!

My husband and I went there last night to celebrate our birthdays and we had the most amazing meal. We knew we were there for a treat after the first canapés. The mackerel pate was incredible and every fish dish that followed was better than the last. However the best thing for me was the bread they served. The focaccia melted in the mouth. I liked it so much that they give us a second serving for free! Thank you very much for such a special evening! Amalia & Ray

Lovely restaurant with amazing food. The service was exceptional too - very knowledgable waiter who explained the food and wine choices. It was nice not to feel rushed and to have the table all evening too.

Excellent food and service. The first course - gurnard with rosemary was a flavour combination we would never have considered but it worked so well. The sauce was so delicately flavoured. Another highlight was the salmon - perfectly cooked. We had the wine pairings and particularly liked the Pinot Noir rose with the salmon. Highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful evening at the Little Fish Market. The food was absolutely delicious, I had some of the most interesting and inspiring combinations of ingredients I've ever eaten. The individual flavours could be picked out to create a taste sensation that was thoroughly enjoyable. The wine pairing was perfect and very well thought out - every wine complimented each course beautifully. It was a really exciting experience all the way through. The front of house service was wonderful, so relaxed and friendly. Can't wait to come back and do it all again! Thank you very much.

Excellent unpretentious welcoming place with brilliant, inventive cooking and enhancing wine pairing. In Michelin terms a restaurant worth a detour that feels like a neighbourhood gaffe.

Excellent service but would prefer a proper menu to chose from rather than just a tasting menu. Least favourite was the chicken gravy. All fish cooked superb and perfect

Excellent service, nice presentation and clever use of ingredients. But courses were too similar. 3 courses of white fish all cooked in a similar style. And, generally too much food. Wine very nice but very few reasonably priced options. Had to pay £58 for a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Great place. The food was simply fantastic. Perhaps a touch rich on a couple of dishes that overpowered the perfectly cooked fish but still excellent. Great friendly service and overall experience.

As ever, the service was impeccable and the quality of the food presented was imaginative with a sublime blend of flavours. A small restaurant but no less charming for all that - any larger and it would lose some of the intimate atmosphere.

Absolutely stunning food. Quality of the cooking and ingredients, attention to detail, artistry - now we have masterchef on telly everything thinks they know about food, but this is simply out of this world. Rob on front of house is also an absolute star too. Can't wait to return and hope to do so for many years to come, now that we have been introduced to the LFM. Hope that others will read this and make the same journey of discovery which we have.

A very special place: exquisite food, exquisitely presented, and served with friendly panache. This was our second visit to The Little Fish Market and it lived up to expectations. Fish fresh out of the sea, lots of extras, e.g. canapes, wines to taste-before-you-commit, and the most cheerful, knowledgeable server you could hope to meet!
