Very friendly staff and lovely food. Only downside was the noise when the quiz started which will make me not book a table again on a Tuesday but I’ll certainly be back another day of the week.

Waitress was fantastic - understanding of our needs and nothing was a problem, friendly atmosphere, menu caters for a variety of tastes and appetites at a good price. Could not fault the place. Well done and I will be back the next time I am in the area.

My daughter and I had a lovely lunch when we visited with our dog ,the beer battered fish and chips was perfect and the pub is very clean , cosy and rustic

Very noisy . We did coment straight away and would have been good if could have changed our table. Could hardly hear each other speaking. Thought when booked meal would be the restuarant part through back. Service was so slow. Waited 45 mins or more for meal.maybe just picked busy night. A bit disappointed as invited our friends along.

First time we had been here. Can recommend the pies. Everyone enjoyed their food. Would have been good to have a bit more vegetarian choice on menu but I realise I’m in the minority.

Many new dishes on the menu -such voices - meant I took ages to decide. One of my companions choose the Sunday Roast which she found superb!

We shared this restaurant with our American friends as we were aware that the food was excellent, there was a homely atmosphere and the staff are attentive to your needs.....Great Evening ! Thank You

Very efficient cosy atmosphere, good quick polite service, even a bowl of water for the dog. Food was good but slightly expensive especially for dessert. Will go back

We arrived very early so were happy to enjoy a seat at the bar before our table was ready. Although I m not a fan of pastry I chose the pesto chicken pastry parcel and to my delight the ratio of filling to pastry was wonderful. The dish was absolutely delicious !
