Friendly and helpful staff. We all enjoyed our food. It was a good place to meet up with friends and we were not rushed.

This was a " halfway" meeting point for a celebratory meal with my brother and sister in law. Not a very comfortable place to sit and eat. Food quality indifferent (at best). Drinks very expensive. Falls well below expectations offered by Trip Advisor.

Staying at the Wilton Premier Inn we researched local vegetarian options and found the Royal Oak famous for its pies and this was indeed justified. Excellent service and food.
