Excellent meal. Good menu and even catered for the smaller appetite. Could not fault.

1st time here at The Shore and it definitely wont be the last , friendly staff & our lunch was lovely . My hubby & i both haf the Ham & Lentil soup to start mmmmm yummy , i had the battered fish & it was delicious my hubby enjoyed his as well. Would highly recommend The Shore . Thanks guys .

It was great. Usually slightly disappointed there was no special on however tonight there was a 17oz rib eye which was beautiful. The owner and chef as consciences as ever was over at the table trying to make it perfect. Good customer service goes along way. Great night

Disappointing menu. Lack of choice on starters, mains & sweets. Had burritos but served with chips not rice. No pasta on the menu, there was prawn curry but no other type, very basic. Sweets were disappointing- no Sundaes on the menu. Went to an ice cream parlour afterwards.

Food was very good and service was great with staff being very helpful. Only surprise that it wasnt busy for a Saturday night.

Service slow. Waited 35 mins for drinks and another 20 mins for our food. steak was a cheap cut and full of fat despite asking for a lean one. One steak sent back as it was not as ordered Sat in a draft hitting the back of my neck from the upper floor, apparently the waitresses were to hot so had the back door open. It’s just a pub with food. Not the best but ok if you are hungry.

Have been here a few times since the new owner took over all I can say is it’s lovely great menu total value for money the food is excellent

Ate from the set menu at £9.95 for two courses. Normally portion sizes on set nenus are a little smaller but there was certainly no scrimping here. The portions were huge! Delicious food and great value for money. Will definitely be back.
