The Soulville Steakhouse - Nottingham

Arrived early for booking and was greeted with a polite smile. Table was made available. Was served by three separate people who were polite and courteous, Food was prepared as required ans served quickly. No rush made to clear us out of the restaurant so was a friendly and stress less occasion which was for our anniversary

Lovely hot food and fast friendly service, only downside was having to sit upstairs even though we put in advance we had a baby with us.

Excellent food and service, would recommend to family and friends and will certainly return again. Great atmosphere, and received an unexpected discount which was a nice surprise .

We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. We browsed over the menu, before going to our table.The food was really nice and the atmosphere was fabulous. The staff were all very nice and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Great service and portions of food a very good size. The food was excellent as were the staff. I took my brother for a birthday meal before the football match, he couldn't finish his meal the was so big lol.

1st time we have been here. What a fantastic meal had a fillet steak, which was cooked to perfection best meal i have every had . The staff was excellent .

The food and staff was amazing but the only minus was we ate off the lunch menu and I asked if the steak came with onion rings. I was told no so I ordered some and also mushrooms and the dinner actually had them on so I had to pay for sides that we never touched. Apart from that it was an amazing place

We had a very tasty meal, the staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. Would go again and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good night out.

Service was really good but the food was lukewarm. I had to use the steak sauce to warm up the food, as that was piping hot.

Came today for our 18th weddding anniversary and we're blown away by the Fantastic food, super polite & efficient service. Will be back soon 😄 Thank you

Booked as a special treat - had a lovely time! Was very busy so glad we'd booked. Waiter very friendly, our steaks were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.

Very quick to be served and the food was delicious! I had the salmon to start and you got plenty of salmon which usually you don't get too much, followed by the fillet steak. All in all a lovely meal! Very good prices as well! Highly recommended,

Decors tired. Sauce had a film on it where it has been microwaved and left (why not give it a quick stir before being sent out) steak was ok, not bad but not the best. Was quite cold in there too. Wine was cheap for a bottle. Ribs were really nice but I believe most warmed up via a microwave.

The food was nice, and the service was good and polite. However service was slow and it was not that busy. But the atmosphere was amazing and awesome music.

Yet another great service. Excellent food as always, great staff and quick service. Awesome atmosphere with excellent music. As per usual....I highly recommend this restaurant - even their non-steak dishes are amazing!

Meal was cooked to perfection. We were looked after the whole time we were there. The food was hot well presented. In all cracking place to. Will be going again.. highly reccomended

I thought it was quite Good value for money. Generous portions. Service was okay. Steak was slightly over cooked but I would probably go back.

We visited for my birthday at a lunchtime. I don't know if it was due to it being lunch but there was a distinct lack of atmosphere and even though it wasn't busy, we still found it difficult to get a waitresses attention for drinks etc. Staff were hanging around at the bar socialising. I wouldn't personally go again

Great meal, my steak was cooked perfect and my wife's meal [salmon with rice]was perfect.The only problem we had was that there was a group of about 12 who were so loud that we had to ask to be moved upstairs which the staff did not have a problem with. Over all the meal was as good as when we have been before and we will be going back soon.

Unfortunately I ordered a well done steak which came out running in blood so I sent it back by the time they brought it back everyone else had finished their food so had to wait for me and the steak was tough did not enjoy left half my meal.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, great steaks at a fair price. Service is friendly and punctual. They also do a good pint.

Brilliant all round steak house, lovely classic background music and the staff are brilliant also. Just one pointer I would like to make is that staircase being in the way. I banged my head several times and boy did it come clean.

Excellent food, good prices. Was quiet as it was early on a Thursday evening but was not rushed and had plenty of time. Different attmosphere and well worth a visit

The food was great but the service was rather slow. We waited a while to be seated, then a while to order and again a while to pay.

Our booking time was 7.30 but they phoned to say we couldn't have that time because they we're fully booked. Our time was 6.15 they said they couldn't do it later but kept us waiting till gone half six.At 7.30 the restaurant was virtually empty but a large group sat down just after 8. Apart from that the food was lovely & we had a nice night.

It was an excellent date night for me amd my husband. They made the night very special. We don't get to go out often, so it was a great place to go. We would highly recommend it

Absolutely beautiful food really enjoyed it. staff are really polite & make you feel comftalble. Cocktails wasn't really that nice didn't rest have a taste to them

We love going to Soulville, the meals are always nicely cooked and tasty and good value for the portion sizes, especially if you go before 5 pm there is 25% off your meal, the ambiance is great with the music as well, the service is good as well

The best steak in Nottingham.also the chips and the chicken was very tasty .the interior decor is plain but the food was delicious not a shred left.

Best steak ever. Not cheap but still well worth it. The volume of the music was a bit high too, this reduced when we asked. Service and attention was good

Booked table for seven oclock..only a few in but our table wasnt ready.got sat near kitchen door and it was very cold..but food more than made up for it ..will be back ..

This is the third time we've been to the soulville steakhouse and every time it's been excellent, would highly recommend to anyone who loves their steaks

We love soulville but this visit there were More staff clearing tables than taking orders,had to ask twice if we could order drinks, also very very hot upstairs. But food impeccable as per usual.
