The food was amazing as always! However, the service was overly slow and there was a few mistakes with ordering. Two members of staff were the saving grace and did everything they could once we alerted them of the issues.

Had my first date with my husband to be here. They were so busy but the food remained excellent and service was amazing.

Always a good environment to sit and chat and enjoy good quality and good value food. Relatively limited menu but what is on it is always good

Food was very nice, I had a roast pork Sunday dinner which was hot, plentiful and well cooked. My husband had rump steak which he enjoyed. Sadly, we didn’t have room for dessert. Service was friendly.

What a great experience, chose here for a birthday bash, a great decision. Food was great service excellent and atmosphere too, put together it was a memorable day. We went for the pitmaster grill it’s pretty huge so you’d better be hungry to tackle it!!!

The food was really lovely and the staff friendly and helpful, but on this occasion we were very disappointed by how slow the service was and the huge waits between being seated, getting drinks after ordering, the time it took to order food, and the time it took for the food to be brought out. We arrived at 6:00pm in a largely empty restaurant for a family meal (myself, partner and son), but all in all it was nearly an hour and a half between arrival and being seated to actually having the food we ordered (only a main) in front of us. I appreciate these new times must be difficult with all the COVID-19 protocols, but having also eaten at the Malthouse (part of the same ownership) a few weeks ago the service there was so much quicker, and the place was also an awful lot busier than the Swan was. Will definitely go back at some point as the food was genuinely delicious, but think a little more attention needs to be paid to the customers and the service time as I’m not sure the wait justified the food, especially as when we ordered we were the only customers in the whole of the lower dining area..

served food on malamine chipped trays and chips served in a malamine chipped cup roast chicken dinner was far from a Sunday roast food never arrived all at same time not a good experisance at all and it was second attempt so won't be going back or recommended via us

Poor quality food , not as expected , not worth the money

I found the service to be really not good at all, the food was ok but not the best and I felt my experience wasn’t best and I wasn’t happy when they let me and my partner wait for our desserts not to come and find out that they hasnt got any thought they could go check before and say they either have no desserts. It’s nice to look out but not great portions weren’t as brilliant either and felt disappointed

food never got delivered due to the person who took the order we didn't find out until I asked around an hour later to be told that the order was not put through so we ended up leaving to have a take away when we got home it's something you don't expect to happen when you've planned your day and pre booked the table

Visit was amazing very little waiting time. Despite being extremely busy and only a small team on. They worked amazingly an the Service was with a smile. They Couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Only real whinge would be the entertainment for 2 hrs. Regardless of your taste it was just way to high. We couldn’t hear who ever was sat next to you. An a lot of people moved outside. All that amp and giant speakers shame the guy couldn’t work out the volume dial. Sometimes less is best when in a small room. But was one of the best nights catching up with family an friends. And was made better with amazing food and happy pleasant staff.

Excellent, we havent been out in over a year and was perfect, couldn't fault, they explained their was a delay on food but there wasn't much of a wait just standard wait times. Will definitely go again.

Visited on the first weekend of the new opening, the staff where really welcoming…. We had a little delay on food, but it was dealt with really fast ( a very good excuse for another drink)… a little sad we missed the entertainment, but we will be back later in the year.

Unfortunately there was a technical issue with their ordering system which meant that all of the orders were mixed up and we had to wait over an hour for our food. These things happen but we would have felt much more forgiving if the waitress had popped over and explained this earlier, when we finally managed to attract her attention we had to wait another 20 minutes for her to come back and take our drinks order (they did bring us a round on the house) and I did ask for some condiments to go with my roast which never arrived. The only saving grace was that the food was good!

Lovely atmosphere, Staff where wonderful and very welcoming. Despite them being extremely busy the young ladies waiting on made time for any queries and were very helpful staff , they could not go more out of their way to make our visit memorable. Food was excellent great menu and great selection of ales and gins

Lovely food and lovely service. One of the waitresses did forget some of our order, I then spoke to another lovely waitress, her name was Jordan, and she made sure we received all our food and drinks. :-)

Food and prices were reasonable. Service was slow and not a lot of beer on tap, but do understand considering the current climate.

The food was ok but nothing special I had the ribs were a little tough the chicken wing starters were nice it was very cold in the restaurant and so dark my husband struggled to read the menu it was ok but I dont think we would go back

Friendly staff. Good coronavirus precautions. Service quite slow and food just a bit lacking. Not as good as our pre-coronavirus visit but we shall return.
