Myself and a friend went for afternoon tea.They went out of there way to provide and alternative to one of the meats she didn't like.Vegan option available too.We did pre book these changes to the menu.

Very good experience.. a bit quiet for a Friday evening, but that was ok.

Everything was absolutely spot on. The one and only downside was we were the only couple in the restaurant at one point and nearly every other table was still dirty. We have been before so this will not put us off but maybe could put off new customers! :)

Restaurant so dark that we had to use our phone torch to read the menu. Could hardly see the meal we were eating. Food was fine and service very good even the staff admitted to the lighting problem. Would I go again “NO” would I recommend “NO” the lighting situation really needs to be addressed.

Lovely food how ever we did have to go to the bar twice to get our drinks as table service was a little slow. How ever the staff were lovely!

Fast friendly service. Marked down as chairs a bit uncomfortable. Didn’t like one of the sandwiches on the afternoon tea and the scones were so flat they were hard to cut in half. Also jam and cream with scones and a Victoria sponge is too much strawberry jam. Maybe a brownie would of been better or lemon drizzle? Would go again though.

Really lovely meal on valentines night. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Gave me warning that what I ordered was spicy which I thought was good as some don’t like spicy. My food was really lovely

Excellent and speedy service, good quality food, wide range of both food and drinks. Pleasant, lively ambiance, clean and efficient. Live music and friendly staff.

Overall a great experience, service was great and price was good value! My only negative comments would be that the burgers are not handmade patty’s and are somewhat similar to cheap shop brought frozen burgers. The dessert menu very minimal with no Cheesecakes?

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the swan taphouse and smokehouse. The food was cooked to perfection, staff very friendly and have highly recommended to friends and family. Definitely visit again!

My partner and I had a voucher for a meal and drink for Xmas, we both had steak and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and atmosphere, the staff were very attentive, will be going again soon

Food was very nice staff was lovely didn't have to wait to long for our food was not very warm but overall would try again.....

Chicken strippers were dry. There was no bread sauce with the mains as the kitchen had ran out but we weren’t informed of this until we asked where ours was. Other than that it was lovely!

Had a really good meal and service was very good. it was a Saturday and quite busy, food took about 30 minutes and was worth the wait. Would recommend

No hand cooked chips- only fries early on the busiest night of the week. Ordered a drink that was left on the bar by the waitress, and then given a bill that overcharged me by £30.00! Not a great Saturday night out

We both had steaks.. I had ribeye Both cooked to our liking. Excellent quality, excellent food, excellent service. I cannot fault. 5 outta 5👍

We ate here 2 nights running, first night was great and we enjoyed it so much we went back. Tonight though wasn’t the same at all. We were sat in a different area that wasn’t as cosy or romantic as last night, a bit like a cafe with uncomfortable seats and it was so hot 🥵 only had one drink and although we asked for more they never arrived. Onion rings were swimming in oil and mac and cheese was missing the cheese. But the beef brisket was lovely and good value for money.

Service was very slow took ages for someone to clear plates and ask if we wanted desert then bill was wrong very disappointed compared to the first time we went

Good food, service was good and place was clean and welcoming. Waitress almost didn’t charge us for drinks but I corrected her, others may not have. Enjoyed my NYE meal with my partner and would go back
