Really good food, nice atmosphere in the pub. Very efficient service. Meals represent excellent value for money. Would be helpful if the free meal offer on reward stamps was clearer. Tried to claim mine but small print lists specific meals you had to have. This is the only slight negative of a splendid evening. Will be back!

Not very clean, wasn’t happy with choice of food on afternoon tea menu or the standard it was made. Found a hair in my food and I wasn’t offered anything extra for an apology

Food is fantastic, portions are huge and super tasty. Had the messy fries and half rack of ribs which was so filling that couldn’t even manage dessert.

Awesome food. Lovely building. Friendly attentive staff. Also one of the nicest house beers I have had in a long time. Worth a trip out.

Great welcome, efficient friendly service, reasonable prices, great platter for two with authentic smoked meats, pulled pork, pork ribs, brisket corn dog and in the cob, chilli beans, smoked chicken. Two of our favourites was in the small plates selection...try the macaroni balls and the burnt ends (it’s the tasty bit of the brisket and is to die for) the sauces aren’t too sweet, really balanced and all meat is tender. There isn’t much of a wine list, three bottles to choose from but ours was a nice quaffer. The fries are hot and nicely seasoned, we will try loaded dirty fries next time because there will be a next time. It was great fun!

Great atmosphere at the Swan. With rustic decor the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great food we had pork belly with mash, very good and the brisket which is slow cooked-which was quite spicy a good hit of chilli which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. So had to do a food swap as one of us does not like spicy food. So worth a mention on the menu. Also we would like to see a wine list rather than the waitress telling us which wines they have, as we like to know a wines origin as well as grape variety to make a choice. But a great evening we will visit again.

Food was good however, the top dining are was very dark with poor lighting. We had to use candles which was ok when good came but had to use our torches to read menu.

Really lovely place to eat, the food was great. Brilliant choice of options and we were served quickly. Will be returning again and highly recommend.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Good service and good selection of drinks for ale and gin drinkers. Food served on piping hot plates, tasty and well cooked. Pleasant surroundings inside and obviously beautiful surroundings outside as it is on the Riverside in Ironbridge. Only slight quibble was difficulty of baby change. Mat provided in ladies' toilet, but nowhere to put it except floor or on top of sink and taps.

Very good service and delicious food!!! I can personally recommend the Pitman Burger!! Had a gotcatch up with friends and we all had a very enjoyable evening.

Party of 7. Food was average at best - fish and chips were ok but brisket was disappointing. Service was very slow. Wouldn’t rush back.

Great food shocking service, won't be in a rush to go back. Staff seemed untrained and inexperienced. Didn't know which wine they had so told us to go to the bar and look ourselves!!

Overall we were impressed with our visit here, food was cooked and presented brilliantly and the service was great. Only thing I feel let it down was the price of the platter my husband had, it was rather overpriced for the size of the portions of meat on it. We would definitely return

Really good tasting food and reasonably priced. Very helpful staff and location by the river is really good. There were Americans in the restaurant and they enjoyed the food so it must be on the lines of real American ffod.

Great atmosphere, the ladies serving were very lovely and friendly even though we were quite late for our reservation! Most of all the food was so tasty and well priced we will definitely be recommending to friends and family, as well as going back ourselves.

The staff were Very friendly, quick service at table. Food was really good quality. Good atmosphere but loses a point as the band, although quite good, were too loud for me. Overall very enjoyable evening and would definately go back

It wasn't exactly a busy night for them so we were seated quickly. The service was just the right side of leaving us waiting too long, I don't like to be rushed to order or between courses so this was just perfect for me. I guess on a busier night things might not be like that. The food was really good, I'd recommend the Macaroni Cheese Balls to anyone, they were fantastic. Everything was hot and well presented. If I had one minor gripe then the ribs were a little overdone for my liking but I still ate them all. Staff were friendly and efficient and thankfully not constantly in your face asking if everything is OK (always find that one difficult to answer with a mouth full of dinner). We'll definitely be back...

The food not the best the ribs were dry and the chicken was tough your onion rings was too oily but the staff very good the ambience of the nights very very good but the overall effect of the food not the best

Had a very nice meal for our wedding anniversary.staff was delightful and the food was beautiful.would highly recommend. Like music in the background was nice touch.

Lovely food and staff very attentive. Booked table beforehand and were seated straight away. All requests regarding food and drink matched. No negatives to say, would certainly recommend.

Customer service was great and food was lovely with the exception of the ribs that were disappointing. There was hardly any meat on them and they were really tough after being smoked.

Food was lovely. Nice to have the choice of changing fries to upgrades etc. We asked for a bottle of prosecco and found it wasn’t chilled, so were offered to put it in the fridge for 10 mins then had a bucket with ice. Unfortunately this didn’t really chill the wine. I believe for the price of £24.95 a bottle we should have been offered the wine list to re choose or offered some small individual bottles instead which were chilled. We waited quite a while to order our food, about 25mins. The wait for the food was also quite long. We didn’t have starters so understand the wait was going to be slightly longer. But was still a long wait of about 30mins after ordering. We waited at the bar to be seated at 7.45pm and didn’t receive our food until 8.35/8.40. We had a pudding to share of chocolate brownie, which was gorgeous. But again we had a long wait for one pudding. When the bill come the sweet potato fries upgrade was marked at £1.50 despite the menu saying £1. This is also the first time we found the price the the prosecco. If it had been chilled and ready for us I would have had not questioned the price to my partner, but after having to wait for it and still receiving a warm bottle I thought that was a shame. I would suggest providing a wine or drinks list when tables sit down so they have a second choice in mind to ask for in the event of this happening to others. As if we would have had that we would have just chosen something else. But as we didn’t see any list we wouldn’t have known what other wines were available. When we received the bill we were told to go to the bar to pay. Despite many tables being addressed with the card machine. This is a shame as our bill was £74.95. For that cost I believe table service of the bill should be expected across the board. Not just to some tables. Saying this we weren’t really prepared to wait a long time for this service as we wanted to continue our evening. All in all the meal and atmosphere was lovely, but the long waits and warm prosecco put a dampener on the evening.

Fantastic food, friendly staff, great service. We had a really enjoyable and entertaining evening. The local ukelele band were playing and were a brilliant suprise musical treat!

The food was just ok, nothing to rave about. The service was abysmal and completely ruined my mothers 75th birthday. Table not cleared, we were not asked if we wanted a drink or if everything was ok and completely left and ignored despite being the only ones in the place. Despite there being at least 3 members of staff working and no other diners, we had to go to the bar to ask for desert menus and to ask for table to be cleared. We could hear the staff laughing and fooling around taking selfies. The cutlery was filthy and in fact two of the spoons clearly had not been washed. The cleanliness of the pub was disgusting. Chunks of wood randomly left on the window sill, children's high chairs ingrained with food and dirt, cobwebs and flies, the bar area was also dirty and untidy and tables not cleaned properly with smears and crumbs all over them. I could go on and on. Would we visit again, no never! Would I recommend, certainly not.
