Topkapi Palace - Deansgate

hi, booked online, everything went smoothly, food good, service good , pleasant staff,good overall experiance, will recommend to others, only downside one of the toilets was shut.

The restaurant was very busy and the staff were exceptional! Efficient, polite, skilled at their job. The meze very tasty, the lamb and chicken sizzling skewers excellent. I had the lamb lasagne which I didn't find particularly exciting, it was a bit bland. We tried the Turkish red wine which was reasonably flavoursome. Would we go there again? Yes most likely. Value for money? Again yes £80 for three people, starters main and a bottle of wine.

This was our first visit with friends from out of town. Food was excellent, so much choice. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Looking forward our to next visit.

Absolutely fantastic again. The food was beautiful and as always, the staff were perfect in every way. First time taking family who have never tried Turkish cuisine and they absolutely loved it. We love this place.

busy restaurant in busy part of mrc with plenty of bars nearby. typical Greek food is good & service excellent. good value - meal for 2 including starters & bottle of red was about £50

The food is always beautiful, healthy and quick. The restaurant is clean, the owner is fantastic and helpful. We go every week. One of the Gems of Manchester.

We visited on a busy Saturday and the service was quick and friendly, Food was great and there was a great atmosphere. The prices are very good value. We will be back soon.

Excellent service, great price and delicious food! The staff were very friendly without being overbearing and our food came out quickly, would definitely go again.

Food not great, lamb meatballs were not freshly cooked to order as arrived only 5 minutes after we ordered and were only lukewarm. Same sloppy salad on main as we had on the starter. Service was ok though.

Good, £ 50+ for 2 is a little pricy though. The lamb shish was alright. The portions are not very big. My Turkish sausage for starter was like 5 slices of sausage for £ 5.95. Friend’s 4-5 wings was £5.95 as well.

I had a Wonderful time at this restaurant. Great staff who were only too happy to help with anything and explain the menu. Nice calm atmosphere. Food was beautiful

We ate from the lunch menu £8.95 for two courses. Portions etc are what you should expect for the price. Food was served a little fast for us but it was cooked well. Waitress was pleasant and helpful.

Fabulous resteraunt booked us in last minute and were great food excellent service fab and price really good would deffo recommend to anyone .. one of my faves

Food was good. Service started off well Once we said we didn't want desserts, they started to rush to clear our table. Won't go back there as two of us had drinks cleared away before we had finished.

Excellent food, particularly the hummus, which was spectacular. Lovely place to sit, too. Also, the service was really wonderful and friendly . Would definitely go there again.

Food was delicious as previous times I have been here, very good portion sizes and served very well and quick. Overall, good value (set menu, 2 course lunch meal for 8.95£).

Had a really tasty meal and the service was really fast! The waitress kept our drinks topped up and grabbed us anything we needed, would definitely eat here again

Very friendly staff, prompt service, really nice food and overall good value for money, especially with the lunch menu which is available during the weekend as well. I would totally go back!

The experience was really good. My family I enjoyed the meal so much we will be visiting again very soon. As for the staff where really attentive and helpful. Cant recommend this place enough if you are thinking of going please do you won't be disappointed.

Really enjoy our visit to Topkapi Palace. The food was amazing and there is a lovely atmosphere. Service was fab too. Will be booking a table again soon.

The staff were most helpful, friendly and attentive. We shared some starters and desserts and our waitress brought us extra plates for this ,all with a great sense of humour. When we had finished and commented on how enjoyable the meal was, she said she would tell the chef as he would be very pleased. Our clean plates also pleased her. We shall definitely return.

Been to this restaurant now a few times and its always good quality food. Turkish cuisine is one of my all time favourites so would highly recommend a visit. Lovely friendly staff as well Will definitely be going back again

Met as we walked in. Restaurant extremely busy but we had booked so were shown to our table. Given the menus and left to look at them. Waitress took drinks order and about 5 minutes later we were able to order food. We both chose the same mains but the waitress checked with the kitchen as she knew there was a wait for that particular dish. This was going to be an hour so we ordered something else. Within 10 minutes our starters arrived.....absolutely delicious. The mains came out within two minutes and once again delicious and hot. When we asked for the bill, it arrived within a couple of minutes with some mints. The manager also came over to check everything was ok. We paid and left but people were queuing to be seated.

Excellent food. There was some confusion over our reservation upon arrival, but it was quickly sorted out and we were given free drinks and olives and bread. Couldn't fault the service at all.

This was a team lunch and we had a great time. The restaurant was very busy but the food was brilliant and the service was good too. We will return and would recommend it.

Food was average & a bit disappointing really. Staff were friendly but food just not as good as it should or used to be !

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Front of house staff were superb can't fault the food or the staff I would have preferred it slightly less rushed as the main course came immediately after the starter and I would have preferred a bit more time to digest the starter. And I must admit hot baklava was new to me but I do prefer it cold and crispy

On a trip to Manchester from London and went to Topkapi because of the recommendations on the internet. Had a really great dinner, throughly recommend it! The food was super, staff were so lovely and was very reasonably priced. Will definitely come back here next trip up.

Despite it being very busy (pre-show early Saturday evening - not a spare seat when we arrived), the service was very efficient, and we had time for 3 courses in just over an hour. The quality of the food was excellent, and was very good value. We certainly plan to go back there.

Great service, great vibe, great food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were never rushed and niether were we left too long. The food was fresh,hot and extremely tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely spacious table by the window, great service from the staff, gorgeous food and prompt service, really decent prices, and we even got a complementary dessert to share at the end! Will return next time I'm in Manchester!

The atmosphere was lovely, sat us down with drinks whilst we waited for a table that we liked the look of (we were 40 minutes early for our reservation) but the staff couldn't do enough. The food was beautiful and the chocolate orange cocktail was to die for. We visit Turkey a lot a love the hospitality there, Top Kapi is a wonderful piece of Turkey in our home town. The waiters and waitresses are a credit to this place. It's not huge, which I think makes it more special. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent service from friendly staff. An extensive menu which made choosing our meals difficult but when served, the meals were delicious. A perfect birthday celebration meal.

Small, Cosy restaurant , staff very attentive , very busy for early saturday night. waitress offered advice on the menu and it proved very good.

Had a beautiful lunch here yesterday, the food was outstanding and the service was faultless. The lady looking after us is a credit to this place, she created the perfect atmosphere and we couldn't have wished for better. I love the fact that there are so many vegetarian options available too. I would highly recommend Top Kapi and am looking forward to our next visit. If there was 10 stars available then I would have given 10!!!

Great food. Great stafff. Quick attentive service would definitely recommend. Always busy so a good sign. Mixed starter really good value and plenty of choice for mains.
