Food & wine mediocre, service was ok. Not much atmosphere but appeared clean and decor ok. Menu was varied, but just lacked anything special. Would return, but won't rush back.

Food came quick but had to chase the bill a couple of times and they had overcharged for an extra beer so make sure you check your bill! Food was excellent!

Pretty disappointed really, had karides guvec startes though tasty the ‘succulent prawns’ were small and chewy(felt microwaved). Also thought the lamb sizzler was bland. Will not be rushing back there.

A warm friendly welcome every time we have visited and the food is always delicious. The lunch time menu and service is superb, ideal if you're catching a matinee performance at the theatre.

Service was ok and the staff friendly, unfortunately the food was average which was a shame really. Had another Turkish experience elsewhere the night after and totally different league of great food but similarly priced. Only small venue with not much room to move however adequate for us and not overcrowded. Don’t think we would rush back!

The food was really nice authentic turkish. The staff are all very nice and friendly make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend. I went after the theatre got there half an hour early and they seated us straight away.

We were a party of 6, the food was average, disappointed that staff removed plates when one member of our arty was still eating, we raised this with the member of staff who then continued to remove our plates, very disappointed. Unfortunately we will not be eating here again.

Lovely restaurant with excellent staff and a good menu. The good is beautifully cooked and well presented. There is always a warm welcome when you arrive.

Great find, excellent value fixed lunch menu (served until 5pm). Attentive and friendly staff. Only problem is we live too far away to visit regularly!

Topkapi - the best restaurant in Manchester - Always a wonderful welcome, amazing fresh food, never had a bad meal here...The atmosphere is great, comfortable and a great all round experience.

The whole experience was very average. Food ok but nothing outstanding. Service ok but very automated and impersonal. It didn't make me want to go back there in a hurry.

Good food. Good atmosphere. But the waitress come and ask did you finsh your food alot, which makes you nervous. It can be better if one of them just take care about specific tables.

Very disappointed. We spent over £100 for effectively four donar kebabs we could have bought on any high street takeaway. Served with tasteless rice and a bland salad we won’t be returning. It is also difficult to enjoy a meal when you have a member of staff standing at your shoulder waiting desperately to clear your plate

Tasty food, portions are huge. We ordered the cold mezze for two and there was plenty four the four of us to eat. Anymore and we wouldn't have finished the starter. Good choice of food for vegetarians too.

We were greeted very politely by the staff and shown to our table immediately and service continued at this level. All wait staff are know the menu very well and gave excellent advice. And the food lived up to their descriptions. Our first time eating Turkish and it was all excellent and seemed authentic. Great venue

Service was friendly and efficient the food was average. Some of the meat was chewy or pink (I don’t like pink meat). Also it felt like a cafe rather than a restaurant atmosphere.

Came here for a meal with my partner. When we first arrived we were offered a table very quickly and given menus. After 2-3 minutes one of the members of staff asked for our drinks order. No more than 10 minutes later we were asked to place our food order. The food took no longer than 10-15 minutes to arrive it's was beautifully presented freshly prepared and delicious we were both very happy with our food.

Food was really good, I don’t like lamb but the chicken dish was gorgeous, my husband had a mixed lamb and chicken dish and really enjoyed it

All the tables are a bit cramped together, but the food is very good and the staff friendly. We visit here fairly regularly and will continue to do so.

Great service, good food. The meat dishes are wonderful, succulent and beautifully cooked. Red wine served at the right temperature. The service quick and cheerful. We would recommend but not for veggie dishes. We will go again

Fantastic traditional Turkish food and plenty of it!! Flat bread took me back to my childhood in Cyprus. Turkish white wine a perfect accompaniment- definitely going back.

Friendly but very efficient service. Relaxed atmosphere. Really tasty food. Just the thing for a leisurely lunch but as the service is so prompt, it would be great for a pre theatre meal too. Can heartily recommend.
