We always enjoy a visit to Guidi's, the food is tasty and the prices are reasonable. The staff are helpful and attentive and the atmosphere lively.

The service was very slow and the waiting staff were not very attentive. I had to go and ask someone for a dessert menu and again when I wanted to order dessert, we also were not once asked if we wanted a second drink. When the food arrived it was ok but nothing special. We felt that 2 hours in a restaurant for a basic lunch and one drink was just too long.

Great food as always only downside was having to constantly ask for things like cutlery, pepper & Parmesan etc. Also had to ask where our sides where a few times before we got them. Drinks sat empty as well for a while. Been coming to Guidis for years and will continue to do so as the food never disappoints.

Good food, big choice, pleasant staff, sizeable helpings. At busy times there will be a bit of a wait as all food appears to be freshly made which is VG

Excellent meal and service. 2X2 courses plus a sweet, coffee and 3 drinks for £40. Would definitely go back. Waitress and waiter couldn't be more helpful.

Drink service was shocking (wrong order received twice) and waited an exceptional long time for main meal. Clearly taking far too many bookings that impinge on the quality of service....

Great food and great service. We went on Mothers Day and the restaurant was very busy but there were plenty of staff to cope. We will be back in the future.

A bit of a wait for starters. Waited a while to get a second drink even though the waitress was continuely walking up and down and I sat my empty glass at the edge of the table. Food was ok but wouldn't rush to go back. Prawn bruschetta to start but the prawns were really cold.. wasn't what I was expecting

Great food, atmosphere and value! Friendly and accomodating service. Dimmed lights and put on happy birthday music when bringing out special birthday cake we had brought earlier and hid it in kitchen until we were ready for it after meal - very smoothly done and no fuss!

Guidis is a nice restaurant, the food was nice enough, chips were a bit hard, waiter was lovely. Restaurant was quite noisy, due to birthday party and being seated close by. The seats are extremely uncomfortable and dig into the thighs, I had to sit at an angle all evening, impossible to get comfortable. Needs more comfortable seating or cushions on the seats. Probably will avoid going back here and choose restaurant that has comfortable seating.

Lunch deal good value for money. Pleasant surroundings and attentive staff. Only downside was difficulty finding a parking space as the restaurant was very busy at that particular time of day.

Wasn't overly busy when we arrived but filled up quickly. We were shown to our seats right away and had a drink whilst we perused the menu. Our food arrived in a reasonable time and was hot and fresh. There was a wait between courses but it wasn't unduly long. Other than it being a bit pricey we had no complaints. Food was delicious and staff were pleasant and polite. Would certainly recommend others try Guidi's but unless you were going for the set evening menu at 2 courses for £9.95, I would keep it for a special occasion.

Great food, just feel too many servers per table. I'd prefer 1 or 2 servers per table as it got confusing with orders as it makes more personal experience.

It was a very busy night and I found it to be very noisy and was not as relaxing as I would have liked. The menu however was good with a wide range of meals. My partner had the fillet steak and said it the best he had tasted. Service was good and the staff were very pleasant and efficient.

Overpriced. 2.20 for a child's glass of milk and 2.90 for a pineapple juice. Parmesan and black pepper not offered and had to be requested yet still no black pepper given. One order was forgotten and had to be chased up. On previous visit my meal was not ordered as waiter forgot and did not remember until other mains were served and he was reminded. Eventually my main meal delivered when other main meals had been finished. Disappointing.
