Lovely food and wine! Staff were accommodating, courteous and so knowledgable. We had a great meal and evening. Both the Venison and lobster... would highly recommend!

Food was fantastic. The service was just what we wanted. A white table cloth would have been perfect. And we could afford to drink the wine!

Great environment, staff very attentive but not intrusive. Great value and food was amazing. We had the chef's menu and the lobster and beef was just fantastic - cheese trolley and butterscotch pudding was also amazing. Glass of presecco each and hand-brewed lager was great too. Cappuccino needs work but didn't spoil a great evening. Thank you!

Arrived a bit early, welcomed and waited with drinks for our party. Great service; there's a really reasonable lunch set menu although we didn't eat from that and chose from the main menu. The chef cooked a special pasta dish for the toddler in our party which was appreciated. Great service from our waitress. Thanks.

Very spacious restaurant with happy staff and excellent food on a Sunday Lunchtime! Good sized portions and also very well presented. Extensive, reasonably priced wine selection as well.

We took our friends for Sunday Lunch - we have been during the week for lunch and a couple of times for an evening meal, but we had not tried Sunday lunch - wow the meal was superb. Our friends were highly delighted with our choice of restaurant, and like us they will return again and again. Thank you once again for making our dining experience so enjoyable.

The waiting staff were a bit slow and the food didn't have a wow factor but we enjoyed the ambience of the place and location was good

Food was of a very high quality indeed - well-presented and using ingredients with real thought. The butterscotch dessert was divine - one of the best puddings I have ever eaten. The service needs more thought - being slapped with the bill before we had finished dining or asked for it was poor, although coffees after our complaint were complementary. Also, not good to noisily set up tables for tomorrow next to us. This is a whisker away from a Michelin star - with better service, it will surely get there.

Lovely restaurant and excellent wine list. Portions could be a bit larger.Staff were very pleasant and it is in avery pleasant area beside the marina.

Good surroundings in well restored historic building. Excellent location beside Marina. Pleasant, friendly service. Good food, clean fresh tasting lobster dish, chilli chocolate desert very good.

We had a delicious meal. The staff were attentive and friendly without being pushy. The food was beautifully presented and the dining room spacious and comfortable.

Beautiful restaurant. Fantastic food. Love the inclusion of bone marrow as a side dish, delicious! The bar area and cognac selection is well worth a post dinner visit!

Lovely place. Me and my husband took my mum for dinner, we had starters of scallops , rabbit and I had 6 very delish oysters. The mains were a steak, chicken and fish and we also had 1 superb cherry bakewell cocktail, 1 prosecco 2 glasses of wine and 1 pudding which came to £192 which is a tad pricey for some but we did opt for some of their best dishes, ate well and you could not fault the quality of the food, the service or the setting so you do get what you pay for. I love cocktails, I make them in my home bar and would never usually entertain one that has egg white on the list but oh my, it was the best cocktail I have ever had, whoever mixes their drinks really has it nailed. My mum drinks cheap grape varieties of wine and verges on liking pudding wine and the staff really tried to get her something to her palet and although they didn't have anything nasty enough in their cellar they tried and gave her a taste and get 20/10 for trying to accommodate her. Would totally eat here next time in Hull

Comfortably spaced tables. Prompt welcome, despite our late arrival.Plenty of choice on menu; chilli flavoured portions served as sides to accommodate my low tolerance of it. Courses sized to allow space for dessert. We had crab and scallop starters, then lobster main course. Vegetable "sides" commendably al dente. Service efficient and staff well trained. Only slight negative: swizzle stick requested, to mix pre-dinner campari soda, bar staff clearly thought it was some sort of joke item.

Fabulous food in a beautiful restaurant. Great wine list with lots to choose by the glass. Attentive staff but not obtrusive. Expensive but worth it for an occasion.

Disappointed compared with previous vists. First course was rushed, it was served almost the same as the bread, too long a wait for the main course, roast potatoes were inedible, had to ask for fresh serving.

Lovely ambience to the restaurant, very professional and friendly staff. An eclectic menu food very tasty with an extensive wine list, along with a choice of beers and cocktails. Great evening.

Had a great experience from start to finish. Couldn't fault a single thing! Restaurant had a good atmosphere with great service. Food was amazing and also had some lovely wine as recommended by our waiter. Will defiantly be coming back soon

The food was lovely but to complete the whole treat was the Excellent service we got from Nicloe so much so that when we go back I would ask if we could sit at a table she was serving

Absolutely amazing experience. Tried oysters for the first time and they were fantastic, so fresh. The cocktails were both really good. Everything is so beautifully presented. We shall definitely be returning xx
