Absolutely fantastic food, especially the lamb shashlick starter and lamb Hyderabad main. Very friendly staff and great service made it a great experience. 4 very happy diners.

Excellent service, nice environment, excellent food. Really pleased we were able to get a short notice table. Great place and we'll be back next time we're in Oxford.

Fantastic food. Restaurant was very busy so we needed to nudge them about sides missing when mains arrived but other than that highly recommend it.

Not a great experience, waiters struggled to understand English. Wrong meal brought to table, food was ordinary, onion bhajis were good. Won't be going ever again.

Very friendly service. We enjoyed fresh tasting chicken jalfrezi. The Bengali chicken was rather too like chicken korma for my taste - I should have gone for a hotter dish. We shall return.

The staff were very welcoming, the buffet was plentiful and varied. The food was very hot and the naan bread freshly cooked. The furnishings are comfortable, clean and bright. The whole meal was a nice experience and we will be returning.

The food was nice and delicious, luckily there are plenty of options to choose from in all three ranges of hotness . We got served quite fast but not all staff was able to answer some of our questions. In fact, we had the feeling not all of them speak English. All in all, it was good.

The food was delicious - amongst the best indian food I have had since I first moved to Oxford (5yrs ago). The restaurant's interiors is classy and the staff were very accommodating! DOUBLE THUMBS UP!

Very tasty food and reasonable prices. Service on the whole was good - and they managed to serve our group of 18 pretty much all at once - but some of the waiting staff could do with improving their manner (one or two were quite grumpy!).

Delicious, well-presented food, with attractive decor - and some very good wines on offer. However, we feel that £7.50 for 4 poppadoms is a bit steep...

Please don't be fooled by the ambiance (large room, no "boutique" feeling): the food is excellent, not too heavy, flavourful. Staff polite&service quick. It's worth the slightly pricier bill.

A bit disappointed having had a previously excellent meal. Very Very noisy, service was stretched and rice over cooked. Great starter though and the main was good

Food was excellent, if a little slow in coming. Staff were very friendly. I do think that this is the best Indian restaurant in Oxford.

Excellent Palak Paneer and Mango Lassi was very good. Presentation was good, but service was rather slow for no apparent reason. A good atmosphere overall.

Great food, good atmosphere. Had an excellent evening in a group of 16. A bit more expensive than some of the other curry houses around Oxford, but definitely worth it.

Great food and service. We had a selection of dishes which were all very good. About the right size portions for women men with big appetite may want starters toi.

We went for a Sunday afternoon buffett. Inside atmosphere was lifeless and I guess the staff needs to be more motivated / encouraged by the management. Food was ok and good.

Bad service.. our bill was brought to us while we were still eating.. then when we paid, the waiter asked us to enter a tip... pretty awkward

We were very well and promptly received. The wait time when seated to receive our menus and for our order to be taken was also very prompt. The food was excellent in service and taste. All in all a wonderful experience.

Food was very good, service was bland and the ambience was of a rather empty school hall with classical music playing in the background. We ate rather late and felt that we were being ushered out promptly at 11pm

Service was good but I've had better food. Tikka starter was on the bone but the menu did not say this. Samosas were so so.

I have been to many good Indian restaurants over the years. This is one of the best. Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere. A wonderful experience.

From the moment we stepped inside we were treated extremely well! We weren't over crowded by the staff, but as soon as we were ready they were promptly at the table. Fantastic venue, amazing staff and top notch food!

Excellent service - attentive and friendly. Delicious food - the lamb dish recommended by waiter was particularly yummy. Lovely atmosphere - aircon appreciated on a hot day. Most certainly will be returning!

Really great food and very welcoming staff! Would highly recommend for large groups, the set menu is ideal and service is very efficient. Great location for going out afterwards as well.

Been here on numerous occasions. It is always good. Always have the prawn sizzler, big portion at a good price. Service is quick and staff always look after you. Strongly recommend.
