4500 Miles From Delhi – Oxford

Been here on numerous occasions. It is always good. Always have the prawn sizzler, big portion at a good price. Service is quick and staff always look after you. Strongly recommend.

Friendly staff, good food which made our Sunday buffet great. Also had a bonus of coconut ice cream to finish which made the overall experience even better.

Great food and service. Very loud though, so be prepared to shout to your dinner companions if booking on a Friday night. I suspect weeknights would be quieter, more suited for a romantic dinner.

I love this place, from the friendly hello right through our meal. Staff so attentive and helpful and the food is just awesome. Recommendations from Me would Lamb fillet kebab and lamb rogan josh with garlic naan.

Lovely relaxed restaurant- staff were very attentive, food was lovely. We had the Executive Banquet which was ample enough food and the flavours and spices of my curry were spot on 👍

Good service, but slightly over priced food. Appetisers were average to poor. Main dishes were very good but had varying levels of heat between myself and friends and compared to what the menu said.

The food was good, but not exceptional. The service was pleasant and they even packed the leftovers in takeaway containers. A bit pricey, but overall a nice experience.

Good service, clean restaurant and most important excellent food. Great location for Oxford centre. We stayed at Oxford Spires hotel and walked to this Indian in 20 minutes. We will go back :)

Brilliant experience. As an Indian and a foodie, I can say that this restaurant serves food similar to (or atleast closer to) what Indian Restaurants serve in India. I am a vegetarian, so can't speak for the meat options here, but the taste of all the dishes that we ordered was very good, and very close to what we have been used to having in India. If you want to pick a restaurant for Indian food, then this one should be definitely on your list

We are regular visitors of 4500 miles from Delhi, the service is always fantastic and the food is amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else for Indian Cuisine in Oxford. Thank you again for making another occasion very special!

A nice looking restaurant with clean surroundings and good service. The chutneys were good and the naan freshly made. They provided a large jug of water with lemon too. The curries were fairly average, not spicy enough for us and not very interesting tastes. Quite lukewarm too, but the sorbe and ice creams to finish were delicious.

Recommended by . Was as good as we were told with excellent service, exceptional food and good value. Will go again next time we are in Oxford.

I really can't fault our experience at 4500 Miles from Delhi (Oxford). The service was very good, and quick, and the food was very nice indeed.

We had the lunch buffet which was extremely delicious. The restaurant is spacious with perfect ambiance. My friends and I had a wonderful time. Will visit again soon.

As always at 4500 Miles From Delhi, the food was exquisite and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. You can't go wrong with any of their curries (although the Chicken Besimaal is an acquired taste, with a particularly strong taste of cloves) and I would strongly recommend the rasmalai for dessert. My guests and I had a highly enjoyable dining experience and I would recommend 4500 Miles From Delhi to all.

Excellent service, and excellent food. Not your run of the mill Indian menu, with some interesting new dishes to try and all very well prepared. Maybe a little pricey compared to some, but don't over order as you get a decent sized portions for the money you do pay so overall still good value.

We Love Indian Food,and have been to many Restaurants,but am afraid we didn't enjoy the Food,the 2 indian's in Summertown are much better!,and cheaper!!shall not return,but wish them all the best for the future.

Great food. Noisy atmosphere because there were a lot of people there having a good time. Managed by really nice people. The Adrakhi lamb chops starter are terrific.

Great tasting food but service was a little slow. Complementary drinks did help though. Would definitely eat there again. The food was outstanding and the surroundings really nice too.

Excellent, as always. Wanted to come earlier than our reservation so that we could have a pre-meal drink - no problem at all. One of the party was going to be 15 minutes late - they took our orders and when the late arrive turned up, they took her order and the food was presented all at the same time. Always attentive, but not overbearing. The food was amazing! Which is why I continue to eat there!

Great tasty food and even though they were absolutely full with not a free seat anywhere, we had great speedy service too. We had mixture of lamb and chicken dishes and all were really nice.

Sophisticated surroundings, great food and pleasant staff. We enjoyed our evening, and would definitely go to this restaurant again in the future. Would be good to go with a larger party and share dishes, in order to try more.

I've been going to and loving this restaurant for years now. The staff know my face and greet me like an old friend and are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is superb and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here.

Food was fantastic, by far the best mango chutney I've ever had! And the staff were lovely, couldn't do enough to help! Even filled up my mango chutney free of charge! We will definitely be back.

Great service, food tasty. 5 out of 6 only because it was so noisy but that was because we were sat by some really loud drunk girls!

Fantastic food and very attentative staff. Highly recommend the chili paneer starter and the nana breads were a real treat - we will definitely be returning!
