The service in 4500 miles from Delhi is great. The waiters are really nice and also give good suggestions concerning sides which suit best to your main dish. If you are many people, food is always arriving at the same time. Furthermore the food is really tasty, both vegetarian and meat dishes.

Good service, excellent food and nice surroundings. Will be back. Nothing more to say only just trying to reach your twenty five word minimum. Thanks

Food was decent, but two of the starters were not the best - the batter on the amritsar fish was too thick and slightly undercooked and also with too much ajwain - the battered prawns were over cooked. The service was a little slow - but attentive.

Great Food and Atmosphere... Had a great fun time and was able to order a mixture Buffet and Mains for Lunch :) Will come again.

Lovely well balanced and spiced food. Service can be a little quicker but sometimes good food takes time to prepare. Very friendly staff. Would hirecommend them.

I always love eating at 4500 Miles From Delhi; I've been there many times now, and the quality is consistently great and the prices are reasonable.

We were a party of 10, Service was excellent, patient and helpful. Food was tasty and carefully presented. Ample portions. We couldn't finish it all! Shared two mixed starters and a fish starter between the 10 of us and then had a main each . Shared 5 rice and 5 nan between 10. On a Saturday night it was pretty full and quite noisy. Decor is modern - no music (which I was happy about!) Recommended for excellent quality Indian food. We ate on a two for one main offer so it was very reasonable. Came in a just over£20 per head including wine and tip!

We had Fantastic evening celebrating a 50th Birthday with superb food, really lovey service from all of the staff and we would without doubt fully recommend.

Food was good. But portion size is very small. It was also very noisy. So if you are looking for eating good food, the place is recommended. If you are hungry then this is a very expensive place to visit.

Good food, nice atmosphere, great staff. Not sure about the music choice though!! Indian music is fine and there's some great stuff, why play Latin and English tracks?

Good atmosphere, good value on the set menu we chose, all the food was served promptly and sizzling hot. Enjoy being able to see into the kitchen at the back of the restaurant.

Not as good as I was expecting from the many excellent reports. Good food rather than outstanding although portion sizes were excellent! Prices higher than competition in Oxford which might be expected given the restaurants very good central location! Attentive service generally. High points Sizzling Chicken Tikka and King Prawn dishes low point Madras sauce which was more like a very mild tomato sauce.

The best indian food in oxford bar none. Fresh, delicious, lovely staff. In short, cant be beat. I can eat there five nights in a row and never be bored.

Superb, tasty food which was bursting with herbs and spices. Every dish is a different experience and all served up by friendly staff. We'll be visiting again.

Very slow service. Not overly happy as we were waiting 45 minutes for food on a Saturday night at 7pm! This needs looking into. Delicious food... shame we had to rush it as we had a show to get to.

visited Oxford for the weekend - never been there before so was unfamiliar with places to eat. Searched for restaurants and was able to make a reservation for 4500 Miles From Delhi online. Received booking confirmation within a few minutes. Found the place very easily and was immediately impressed by initial friendly greeting and also the cleanliness and decor. Was seated promptly and served quickly. The menu is extensive - it has the usual Indian restaurant favourites and a number of exclusive dishes as well. Also plenty of vegetarian options for my wife. The quality of the food was very good and they even made my curry extra spicy and hot as requested. They had draft beers, bottles, and a number of wines. We had draft Cobra and it was fine. The waiter ordered us a taxi at the end of the night and it arrived quickly and the metered charge was less than we paid for a shorter journey into town earlier that day. Overall, a very good meal and friendly staff.

Good food, good atmosphere, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Excellent place for coeliacs to eat, as nearly all the food is naturally gluten-free. Sometimes noise level is high enough that it's hard to have a conversation, but usually that is fine too.

This delightful Indian restaurant has an extensive menu of regional specialities, with wonderful cooking and attractive presentation throughout. We had attentive service, just right. Good value. Strongly recommend.

We had a very large group (18 people) and everyone was extremely satisfied at the end! Food was delicious and the servers were nice. It took a bit of time to get our food, and there was some confusion with some naan and a dish that we hadn't ordered showing up, but they left that extra food with us at no cost. Several people in the group who hadn't been to the restaurant before said they will go there again.

Very noisy and did not feel comfortable at all. Often rushed by the staff. Wrong strength of curry for my wife, therefore we will not be going again to this restaurant. Value for money only average.

On the whole Good food, service could be improved, very polite but ignored my wife who was actually paying! Need to be consistent with both sexes.

The spread for the bouffet was attractive and tasty. The price was unexpectedly reasonable. I would like it to be a bit more cleaner and cheerful.

This was our first visit and it won't be our last. The service was excellent and the food was extremely good. Fantastic flavours and a chance to try something different on a menu that offers dishes other than the ones you typically see in your local Indian Restaurant. Great place, recommend it.
