Great as usual. They are Dealing well with the COVID-19 requirements and food still top class

Very well layed out for social distancing and staff all wearing visors. Food and service was amazing!

Great "new normal" experience with very clear and easy to follow rules. Reliable and speedy table service. All good!

The limitations of social distancing made it difficult for staff to regularly attend our table. As a result there were long waits between drinks orders and food courses usually ending with me having to get the attention of a server. I understand the challenges an establishment faces during Covid-19 but think considering indoor tables are restricted to table service they should have had more staff dedicated to the tables.

Couldn’t fault the evening the staff where great. Definitely book again

Can’t expect much more with the virus still kicking about.

Things are obviously different with the currently situation but we were very impressed with the excellent food and service.

We all enjoyed our visit to the Blackbird. The food and team were as good as usual

Menu was very limited. Not a good choice- fish and chips, pie and mash or burgers.

Great to be out after lock down! Black bird always reliable. Great service, felt safe though sadly atmosphere slightly changed with new guidelines.

Food was fantastic found the fact outdoor seated tables had to queue at bar to order blocking doorway

Fantastic effort by the staff made it such a good experience We had drinks and food Flatbread with beef burrito and Moroccan lamb were superb really good food and a great all round experience despite the restrictions I have used this pub for over 25 years and will still keep on going

4 days after lock down opening, the blackbird showed care and attention to rules around reopening. The food and service was very good , a little slow but as you would expect as everything was waitress service. Well done to all the staff.

The food was great as usual but made a booking for the restaurant and was then sat in bar area which was really noisy and we couldn’t hear each other plus the seating arrangements were uncomfortable for six people - it slightly spoilt the evening.

Quite possibly the best fillet steak I've ever had! Never had anything but top notch food when we've been here.

Food is excellent cooked to perfection and lots of it. Well worth every penny best Sunday lunch in the area.

Food was delightful and service was great. There were a couple of cheeky chappies at the bar fooling around but they were harmless. There was a woman cackling really loudly.

We were indecisive customers, the event being an 86th birthday but the staff were very patient with us. The food was of a good quality, good portion size and well presented. Excellent menu choice. Very good coffee.

Excellent, needed chips with Valentines Steak. Steak must have Chips!!!

Good visit but a bit disappointed in the menu, thought there would be a bit more to choose from. But we enjoyed what we had as both dishes were perfectly cooked. Dessert, white chocolate and coconut bomb, was a bit sickly and we could not finish it.

Always enjoy a meal at The Blackbird. Consistent quality gives you confidence it’ll be a nice evening.

Nice place However the Sunday roast was nothing special The meat was tough and very little amount Vegetables were rock hard I like veg not soft but it was ridiculous Plus no salt in the veg The roasters were practically like boiled potatoes Had much better Will not return for Sunday lunch However nice staff And place
