I can't find a single fault with this place! The roast was incredible, hefty cheeseboard too! Service was top quality. You have to go here if you're in Manchester.

Food was fantastic, however the service was very slow, took over 20 minutes just for the first drink. Staff were lovely though, and when a better table became available they did move us.

This was the first time we had tried the Sunday lunch fondue and weren't sure what to expect It was fantastic!! The meal itself was delicious and the portions huge The ambience in the bar was great and the service was excellent Will definitely be going back

The beers brilliant. Service appalling. Friday afternoon 2pm. We ordered food. It was cold. The young waiter literally 'dumped ' it at our table. The only redeeming feature was the beer. However because the service was appalling we only had one.

Loved it, great ambience, decor, staff, beer and food! Just that little bit different to everywhere else, very much looking forward to going again sometime. I highly recommend it!

Food was absolutely delicious. The cheese fondue was outstanding. We only realised an hour before that the roast fondue was Sunday only which was a little disappointing, however not their fault. We Will definitely be back

Nice atmosphere. Food ok, they asked if we had an offer voucher when they took our order, we felt like we got a small portion...maybe because we were on a cheap deal?

Great all round. Food - great, and service even better. Very good all round experience to be honest. There is nothing I can say was negative about the experience we had. Very very good, MUST TRY! Can’t wait to try the steak. We went for the Sunday Roast and it was class.

Great food, great beer and great service. What more do you want? This is the first time we have been but will definitely be coming back.

Lovely atmosphere, huge selection of tasty beers and the cheese fondue was delicious! It was our waiter's first shift and it was a busy Friday night but there were plenty of other staff around to support and we received really great friendly service.

Amazing! Food was inexpensive and delicious, Plenty of food as well. Drinks were on the pricey side but considering the cheapness was more than worth it. Within walking distance of both Victoria and Piccadilly (about 10mins walk) Staff were super friendly and very accommodating considering they were willing to make hot food before 4pm. Highly recommended if you enjoy tasty food with a warm atmosphere (and German beer)

I went on a Friday night and whilst the beer selection food and value for money were great, the place was unfortunately understaffed that so service was slow. Next time I will come mid week as there is so much more of the menu I want to try!

Really good food, lovely staff and nice cosy atmosphere. Generally spot on! Would highly recommend the cheese fondue! It came with a great selection too!

Great Belgian themed bar/cafe, and only intended for drinks (great selection !) with a friend and food on display, tempted us into trying ! A further visit is required to try the food menu in more detail and they have plenty of offers on during the week.

Great food in a very "cosy at home" setting. Massive quality beer selection and friendly staff. Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu.

Disappointing all round. Had booked a tavle only to be told the kitchen was closed as there was a 90 minute wait for food.Then struggled to get a beer off the menu that they actually had in stock. The idea of the place is great and had they been able to serve food and the beers on the menu it would be great. Food looked good but annoyed to see a table who arrived after be served in around 20 minutes. Hopefully this was teething problems as they hadn't been open long

Quite enjoyable- plentiful portions - fruit beer exceptional. Booking definitely required as restaurant fully booked on the Sunday afternoon/lunch. Staff pleasant & efficient service.thank you

It's an amazing Sunday lunch fondue. Will definitely go back and back again. Just learnt they're doing a Christmas fondue. Oooh sounds fabulous. Worth giving it a go

Great service, The staff was helpful and they were knowledgeable of their beers The place was a bit busy, so avoid going with large groups as you may end up in a small table.

Great service, excellent food and lovely atmosphere. Took my girlfriend for dinner. We shared the beef stew which was more than plenty for two with huge chunks of meat. We also shared a Belgian waffle dessert which was simple and tasty. Really high quality food and a great night.

Great food, particularly the cheese fondue and the waffles! The service was really good too and the they have probably one of the widest selection of beer in Manchester.

Interesting menu. For m the cooking let the menu down. Good ingredients but waffles cold when served. Nice atmosphere and helpful waiting staff. Unusual decor and lighting, atmospheric.

We went there at 5, it was very busy. Food was great with an extensive choice of drinks. The service was a bit slow with frowny waitress and waiter.

We enjoyed our time here..we had the cheese fondue to share and it was very enjoyable..followed by deserts..they were amazing and presented lovely. Drinks were good and the service was great. Overall a very pleasant experience and we will definately visit again.

Booked in on a Sunday and had the Sunday lunch fondue followed by the waffle stack to share. Both absolutely lovely. Will definitely go again.

We went to Bock Bierce for birthday beers on Saturday. Booked a table which was great as it was quite busy. Great beer selection with my favourite Vedett on draught. Will definitely be back!

Nice venue. Draft and bottled selection fairly standard Belgium beer selection. Beer prices a little high (£7.50 for a bottle of St Bernardus Abt 12) but food excellent. We had the cheese fondue

Loved the food, the setting and the beers! Good veggie choices, great selection of beers and the food was good value too. Some of the staff were excellent.

A beer lovers paradise and great food to go with it. Cosy and unpretentious and a beer menu so extensive I will have to pay a few more visits

Fabulous Sunday roast with a twist, will definitely be back again. Plenty of meat, veg and gravy and we loved the waffle!!! Also fantastic value for money!!! Service really friendly as well.

Booked for 12 weeks ago but they were unprepared. No tables set up, no thought given to how we might all be seated and have a meal. This is a bar for a small group only.

Fantastic atmosphere and amazing food, what a find. Highly recommended. Guy who looked after us (was sorry not to ask his name) was brilliant, excellent customer service given.
