Wonderful food excellent service we recommend the lunch deal! Great French ambiance!

I lived in France for couple of years. Good but nothing special, more like french home food rather than french restaurant. Mussels are overcooked and not fresh, and sauce is more like dressing rather than a soup with white wine. Disgusting ....

I have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The welcome is always warm and the food superb. I would recommend it highly and I will certainly be visiting Chez Tonton again.

Friendly staff, intimate atmosphere, decadent food. I used a tastecard and got a decent amount off the bill too. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Every time we go to Claudine and Eric's wonderful restaurant we think we have been to France! The food, the service, the music, the ambiance and the conversations with staff and owners make it a truly unique place that I can recommend very highly. To me its a bastion to everything that makes French food and culture so extraordinary. We had mussels and entrecôte a week a go and are still dreaming of it today!

A friendly atmosphere in Chez Tonton, courteous service and to cap the evening, excellent food. We have recently moved into Barnet and will certainly visit again.

Intimate atmospheric ambiance. All French waiters, very friendly and great service. Lots to look at on the walls, some outside seating with fairy lights. Food? Ah yes, EXCELLENT! Quite pricey, £90 for 2 with only one dessert. No wine by the glass.

Excellent little French gem in Barnet. Great food, excellent value and superb cozy atmosphere. We go there at least once a month, and are happy every time.
